Rush asks why Democrats are suddenly in a hurry to move this impeachment forward.
I believe it is to get it out of the Democrat controlled house and into the Republican controlled Senate. Why, so they can spend all of next year blaminging their impeachment failure on the Republicans using their controll of sentate to obstruct justice.
They want to capture the Senate so they can impeach him in his 2nd term.
Yes, but he did it in a more grammatical way and he didn’t post it in news.

I think the Repubs should take their sweet slow time with it, subpoena’ing everyone they ever wanted to, and getting them all under oath in excruciating detail.

Rush may be giving them too much credit. But even if he is, he certainly laid it out for them.
Use their legions of accomplici in the media to slam vulnerable republican Senators for shielding Trump from impeachment prosecution. It’s better than dropping impeachment and losing face, or by letting the hearings languish in the House for months on end.
IMHO, the rats won’t vote for impeachment. They’ve got way too much to lose if they do.

I like your thoughts, but there are several witnesses who will need to be in protective custody...for real, not the Epstein-style custody.
They have to pass the Articles of Impeachment to know what’s in them.
The reason the democrats are in a hurry is simple.
They want to impeach before RBG croaks.
Count on Chief Justice John Roberts to do all he can to get a conviction.
More importantly, why even bother with impeachment? Trump’s not going to be removed anyway.

One would think Limbaugh knows the answer.
The answer is timing. Schiff and his co-conspirators want to hatch impeachment before news hits of indictments. Voting for impeachment is an escape clause for Democrats and their voters to claim the indictments are all about reprisals.
The Democrats want a 2-month impeachment and an 8-month Senate trial. It should be obvious why.
Impeachment and trial they figure puts POTUS in a bind and hinders his Administration’s ability to prosecute corrupt members of the Deep-State and their affililates in the Swamp.
During which several Dem senators currently running for president will not be able to run around campaigning.
Rush is part of the IG-report-will-be-a-nothingburger crowd. So he doesn't expect criminal referrals. (The IG doesn't indict.) I hope and believe he is wrong on that and there will be a buttload of criminal referrals. Time will tell. Anyway, I think Schiff may be trying to rush impeachment for the reason you give and he is getting resistance from non-conspirator Dems who just want impeachment to go away.
Whether impeachment is an escape clause for the Dims depends on the charges and evidence the IG brings in his report.
If the IG attempts to do to the Dims what they are doing to Trump, i.e. accuse with baseless claims and malicious lies then that will work to the benefit of the Democrats.
If however he brings substantial and meticulously detailed proof of wrongdoing, that will result in highlighting by stark contrast the “nothingness” of the charges being brought against the President and therefore work against the Liberals.
