Actually as my son just said on the phone..his dad played one of the best 9 holes of golf in many years. My son insisted on them playing 9 holes while my husband waits to get the date of his cardiac cath. My husband is really stressed since his dad died right after heart surgery many years ago due to a blood clot. He lost a brother a couple years ago from a bad heart. Another brother has trouble too. His heart goes out of rhythm. Thanks for asking. That's where we are. Trying to finish wrapping gifts/icing roll out cookies/cleaning/looking for news.

In My Arms

The melody came to Kimberly Knighton out of nowhere.

In 2018, the singer-songwriter had been driving in her car and was thinking about what she would perform in an upcoming Christmas show when the notes to a yet unwritten chorus came to her mind. She immediately knew she had to record it and sang the melody into her phone. That simple melody would turn into her newly released single, “In My Arms,” a song about Mary’s heartfelt reaction to being the mother of the Son of God.

We’re putting up the tree today and making Christmas treats for neighbors and local friends.

Most Texas gifts are in the mail but a few adults will receive theirs after Christmas this year. I’m sure they won’t mind.

L S, I wondered if it was the same Joe Wilson. He introduced this legislation in 2011. It finally got passed with Trump as President. He is certainly the get-something-beneficial-done President. Just imagine where the country could be if the legislature would have worked with him, instead of against him. I thank God for Trump as President.

Minimal decorating and we’ve ordered Christmas dinner from Slaveway. ;-)

Of course I’ll cook a few extra dishes.

As Christmas approaches the tears are closer to the surface and flow more easily, but because of my sorrow and minimal material preparations, the Reason for the season is more on my mind than ever. Funny how that works. :-)
