Once it is known for sure she is dying, I hope President Trump has a team standing by to protect and insulate the top five potential replacements.
Typically, SCOTUS security is done by the Supreme Court Police, with the US Marshals service guarding them outside of Washington, D.C.
But I think this is a special case, as these potential replacements will need maximum protection: bodyguards, legal services, surveillance and anti-surveillance, anti-terrorist, and who knows what other forms of protection.
Truthfully, I would put them and their families on high security military bases until their confirmation hearing and for at least a month thereafter.
To make up for the disruption, the four who aren’t nominated should still be nominated for courts of appeals judges right after.

Baby murderers do not deserve respect or honor or life they deserve punishment in this life and the next.
Not just with Ginsberg either. John McCain is another recent example of a career government employee clinging precariously to a position of power and influence to the very end - long past the point of being able to handle the duties and responsibilities of that position effectively.
It's such a disservice to the people that they are supposed to serve.
All these people would have personally and spiritually been benefited by spending their last years with family and friends.
As for Ginsberg, she was all set to retire in a blaze of glory in early 2017. allowing "President Hillary" the honor of choosing her replacement.

Putting childhood mortality into the average brings down the average considerably. If you made it to your teen years, you could expect a reasonably long natural life.

That means it is legally possible, in the case that RBG passes, for Trump to put in a conservative recess appointment in the last year of his term while under impeachment proceedings. Wow, that would make for a contentious situation.
There should be a mechanism to replace Supreme Court Justices when they are physically or mentally impaired and can no longer do the job, and won’t do the right thing for themselves and the country and retire. Remember William O. Douglas?
