Thank goodness, it’s mostly open field and not under structures. It’s hard to believe this could be overlooked so soon; 1940’s isn’t exactly ancient history. Shameful.

There was a high-school here in Pittsburgh that sat atop a hill right over a tunnel. It’s sports teams were at one time referred to at the Tunnelites.
I suppose teams at this school will now be called the Walking Dead.
