I was was introduced to chick-fil-a 11 years ago in Texas. I liked the food and the environment - employees were upbeat and liked what they were doing and who they were doing it for. I liked that it wasn't opened on Sunday and held Christian values. I liked the whole package.

Different then. That's all I remembered.
We didn't have any in Illinois up until a couple of years ago...out of sight out of mind.
It had changed and I wasn't aware of it. Can I separate their social effort from everything else and still be a patron ? I guess. Make me a hypocrite ? maybe...

I have stepped into a Target maybe 5 times since they changed their bathroom policy...and so it goes

If you are prepared and it all isn’t needed that is OK because trying to get ready in the middle of a blizzard with lights out is not good or fun.

I speak from experience. lol

Forest Lakes is about 60 miles from me, they are close to Payson, AZ, on the Mogollon Rim and they get a lot more snow than we do.

Ive never been a big CFA patron so they wouldn’t miss the 2 chicken sandwiches i might have bought in a year, lol!

But I figure now they are no different than any of the other franchises. I’m just guessing they’re all donating to those social conspiracy causes, because if they don’t they get blackmailed. Plus somehow they all turn Lefty and I’m not sure why. So if somebody likes their food, go for it. I mainly went there when I had other choices because I wanted to support them. But it wasn’t often, since I live in the middle of nowhere and rarely happen to be in town around dinner time. But this summer I did get a peach shake there on one Excursion. It was fantastic! Tasted just like fresh peaches with lots of peach pieces in it. I do plan to go back for another one next summer, hope they are carrying it again. I will get off of my anti-inflammatory diet for really good things, and that is on my list.

It’s really hard not to spend on Lefty organizations. Like trying to buy laundry soap! Unless I want to put a cauldron out in my front yard and start making my own soap, I will have to cave. Actually I did start making my own laundry soap but I had to buy the ingredients, from the same companies!
