Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will have to 'renounce their royal privileges ' ahead of any planned move to South Africa, a royal expert has suggested.
The Duke, 35, and Duchess of Sussex, 38, voiced their desires to live in the country on ITV's Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, which aired on Sunday and charted the pair's ten-day tour in South Africa.
However royal correspondent Victoria Arbiter told the New Zealand talk show Breakfast that there are a number of reasons a move to South Africa cannot occur while the couple remain members of the royal family.
Questioning whether the British or South African taxpayer would fund their security, she added that showing 'favouritism' to one Commonwealth nation would not be fulfilling their 'responsibility' to the Queen.
'That’s just not going to be OK unless, of course, they renounce all of their royal privileges, their royal titles, everything to do with their life as a member of the royal family', she said. 'I don’t see that happening, either.'

Yes. And the New Zealand talk radio station’s official “royal correspondent” didn’t cite any of those laws, or any precedent or any rules or even the Queen’s stated expectations. Just her own (absurd) opinion that no royal can ever live in any one part of the Queen’s realm because if they do, all the other parts will get jealous.

You obviously don't know the first thing about the rules and laws that govern the Royals, so WHY are you even reading, let alone posting to such a thread?
The argument against Harry and Megan Ono being being denied security would be the safety of the baby. I think the Royals wouldn’t shed a tear if Megan was dragged off by some crazy terrorist group and sold as a slave, and they’d feel bad for Harry but amongst royals they are prepared to say “see ya” to family members that don’t play the game. But the baby, that’s a different matter.
Wallis is buried right next to him. Halfwit and MeAgain supposedly got the use of a dumpy house (formerly used to house workers on the Windsor estate) under the Heathrow flight path, close to paths used by the public, and near to a royal mausoleum/cemetery containing an unsuitable American divorcee who married a royal and her weak, idiot husband. Harry would NEVER have graduated from ANY school if 1)his tutors hadn't done most of the work 2) he wasn't the grandson of the Queen. He's an uneducated cretin, who went to good schools is all.
And the duchess of disaster knows almost NO Brit history at all and really couldn't care less if she tried. She's also a birdbrain; just a cunning, very manipulative one.

When she pulled that stunt last year, the DM's comments sections were full of references to her leather shoes, handbags, coats, and some cutsie story she had trotted out about cooking Harry a chicken dinner when they first met.
Speaking of leaving early. There was something with them all out on the lawn at Buckingham (?) recently. Charles and Camilla came up to them to whisper something in each of their ears which looked like they told them good bye. She was later spotted sulking in the car. At some point while at the get together, she was photographed sticking her tongue out. It was rumored she was sticking her tongue out at Camilla so they were asked to leave. I don’t know but only read about it. If that has any bit of truth, well...
The cottage is only a couple of football fields from the cemetery but there are trees blocking much of the view. That still might be too close for comfort.
It was at the “engagement” T.V. interview, when she first went on and on and on about being a VEGAN and then said that she was making her “favorite meal” for “H” ( as she now claims she calls him...as in HEROINE, I suppose )....CHICKEN! LOL
