I knew it would only take 10 posts or less for that. I, too, wondered as to his “ hitting it” status. LOL

Well, Get Soon!

Hope they find the cause of your palpitations and glad to hear you didn’t have a heart attack. Get out of the hospital as soon as possible and don’t hit on the nurses or they’ll send you for a complete check up with the proctologist.

Laz, not sure you can take a phone call. I have your number, you have mine. Will try calling you this afternoon and provide an update to all here.

Hang in there my brother from another mother!

Blood test shows not a heart attack, but my heart seems to be skipping beats from time to time and that’s what I felt

That's the same thing I had about four years ago now. Heart took off racing over 200 beats per minute, couldn't breathe and thought I was having a heart attack too.

Glad it's not a heart attack, sounds like you have an early-beat or late-beat in your heart (causing the skipping.) I take Metoprolol once a day to control mine and I've been fine since.

Hang in there my brother from another mother, will call you today.

Get well Laz. If not a heat attack, could it have been a panic attack? I've had them and once ended up in the ER. Keep your hands off the nurses. ☺

Welcome to my world. Metoprolol can fix it

Prayers!

I have PVCs(benign) daily. They don’t know why. I also went to the ER first time, but I’m living with it now. I’m guessing they will check your heart out with an echocardiogram.

MORE TESTS NEEDED:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heart_arrhythmia

FROM LINK:

Heart arrhythmia (also known as arrhythmia, dysrhythmia or irregular heartbeat) is a group of conditions in which the heartbeat is irregular, too fast or too slow.[2] A heart rate that is too fast – above 100 beats per minute in adults – is called tachycardia, and a heart rate that is too slow – below 60 beats per minute – is called bradycardia.[2] Many types of arrhythmia have no symptoms.[1] When symptoms are present, these may include palpitations or feeling a pause between heartbeats.[1] In more serious cases, there may be lightheadedness, passing out, shortness of breath or chest pain.[1] While most types of arrhythmia are not serious, some predispose a person to complications such as stroke or heart failure.[2][3] Others may result in sudden death.[3]
