Gavin Newsom, the Communist Governor of California this week defended utility companies such as Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) and SoCal Edison for cutting off electricity to hundreds of thousands of people in order to ‘prevent dangerous wildfires.’

“I think it is excessive,” said state Dem Senator Jerry Hill. ”PG&E clearly hasn’t made its system safe. These shut-downs are supposed to be surgical. But shutting down power to 800,000 people in 31 counties is by no means surgical.”

“This cannot be something that can be acceptable nor long-term,” Hill said. “This is third world, and we are not.”

Can’t help but think it has nothing to do with wind but is leverage to management of trees along power lines or something else the power companies want. Maybe the environmental lobby will lose their power over the legislature.

As far as I know, the FISA report is still on schedule. I have yet to find anything of substance suggesting otherwise & have no word from within DC that it is being delayed again. It was finished in September & was forwarded to the FBI & DOJ.
