'Seinfeld' star John O'Hurley slams 'Will & Grace' stars for 'lunacy' over Trump comments
Fox News ^ | 2 Sep 2019 | Tyler McCarthy

Seinfeld” actor John O’Hurley sounded off on Hollywood for suppressing “diversity of thought” in the wake of Debra Messing and Eric McCormack calling for supporters of President Trump to be outed.

Trump plans to attend a Sept. 17 fundraiser in Beverly Hills during a trip to California that will also include visits to the San Francisco Bay Area and San Diego, officials said. The “Will & Grace” co-stars took issue with a Trump fundraiser happening in their city and called for donors to be doxxed.

“I think they have the bully pulpit right now to say it out loud. I don’t think it permeates Hollywood to the degree that you think it is,” O’Hurley said on “America’s News HQ” Monday. “I think there is a nature among liberal thinkers to form packs, to form groups, whereas the conservative mind is basically an individual, and they’re tougher to find.”

> As long as the POS Elaine character isn’t there. <

Okay, then how about this? Seinfeld does a reunion special where he bashes political correctness. But the Elaine character doesn’t put in an appearance. That’s because she’s in the hospital. (While walking to work, Elaine was caught up in an Antifa riot. And then some Antifa thug hit her with a bicycle lock, just for the hell of it.)

Side plot: J Peterman and Frank Costanza go on a merciless hunt to bring Elaine’s attackers to justice.

McCarthy was correct. Many in Hollywood actually were commies, which is why they hated him so much.

Yes, Joe McCarthy was more right than wrong. But I still think it’s a VERY good move to accuse the left of McCarthyism. Because that’s language they understand, and it will sting. And it might even make them think twice about what they’re doing.

(Sorry, Joe. You gotta take one for the team this time.)

“Anti” people are usually just as bad as the people they claim to be “anti”.

Case in point, Anti-Fascists.

the one thing I have learned over the last three years when you hear a Hollywood star scream about Trump irrationally it usually means that they are involved in something illegal or very embarrassing if it got out to the general public. The problem that Hollywood has with trump was that back in the 1990s he was the person in the room still sober at the parties these freaks had. They also stayed at his resorts where I am sure through his security he got to know who the drug addicts were and which star took full advantage of having Groupies.

For the Left, there is only one side to every issue: theirs. It’s like they were emotionally and intellectually stunted at about the second grade. They use the “adult” version of “you’re a doody head.” To the extent that they are effective, and they are in many places, they are probably the worst threat to freedom we have seen in a long, long time and are, as such, anti-American. If to be an American is to support freedom, they are anti-American.

You may choose to cede the language to the leftists, or whatever else your conscience will allow. Call it a witch hunt, or jihad...

Only weakness would allow smearing a patriot’s name in pursuit of winning a damn argument.

“Star” of Seinfeld might be a bit of an overstatement. I’d describe him as a ‘recurring character” on Seinfeld?

I’m so glad someone had the courage and insight to clear that wording up.
As pertinent as it is to the gist of the story and all.
And naturally we were all waiting for a dull slow-witted take on this matter.

With all due respect, it’s not a damn argument. It’s a damn war. And so I’ll use whatever works. Because this is not a war we can afford to lose.

As a side note, words evolve over time. “McCarthyism” now refers less to the man, and more to a system where dissenters are blacklisted.

Today’s leftists are certainly trying to blacklist anyone who disagrees with them. That is McCarthyism in the modern sense of the word. And it WILL sting when we accuse them of that. Is that unfair to McCarthy the man? Oh, yes. But it is what it is.

I do understand that you do not agree, and feel that McCarthy’s legacy should be taken more into account. I respect that.

Maybe the shows sponsors can be convinced to drop it.

I heard that the reboot of the series has already been canceled.

He does or did commentary on the Westminster Dog Show over the years since his stint on Seinfeld. A dog person.

I only watched two episodes of seinfeld. One was kramer trying to pass a kidney stone. The other was kramer running around nyc with a Risk game.

I didn't see the guy in the photo in either.
