"I remember back in the seventies we were all going to freeze to death."

I remember that very well. We had a subscription to National Geographic and every issue had how it was going to become the ice age again.

Boston PD...

That is GREAT. Portland PD needs to send some of their officers to Boston to see how it's done.

Although, I suspect Portland knows how to do it, they just refuse. They are part of the resistance problem.

The president earned a monthly job approval of 47% in August, down one point from 48% in July. In January of this year, Trump’s monthly job approval had fallen to 44%, its lowest level in a year. But it jumped five points to 49% in February following his well-received State of the Union speech, recapturing the high ground he held for most of 2018. Fifty-two percent (52%) disapproved of the president’s job performance last month, a two-point drop from July.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 42% of Likely U.S. Voters say they are more likely to vote for Trump in the 2020 presidential election. But 52% are more likely to vote against him. Six percent (6%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

While 75% of Republicans are likely to vote for Trump, 21% of the voters in his own party say they are more likely to vote against him next year. Trump loses Democrats by an 82% to 13% margin and falls short among voters not affiliated with either major party 48% to 42%.

Among all voters who say they are likely to vote against the incumbent, 58% say their vote is more likely to be a vote against Trump than for some other candidate. Thirty-seven percent (37%) expect their vote to be more about the other candidate.

Only five percent (5%) say it’s not very or Not At All Likely that Trump will be renominated. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Among all likely voters, 81% see Trump as the likely nominee, including 61% who say it’s Very Likely. Just 12% say it’s not very or Not At All Likely.

Employment Report 195,000 against consensus of 140,000

What is the meaning of "consensus"in this context?

This is actually my husband’s words. I never..I mean never watch football. Ever! I hated having to twirl during football season in high school. Back later. Moving the water hose around watering trees. Can’t let them stress.

On the radio today I heard someone refer to climate change as "climate catastrophe". I wonder if we will start hearing this expression over and over.

I remember back in the seventies we were all going to freeze to death

This is why a year in the mid-seventies was chosen as the base year for the global warming statistics. Things did warm up from a period of dropping temperatures, until they stopped warming. Thus the change in name to "climate change."

Leftist are brainwashing our youth as well as the uninformed. Anyone getting their news only from the propaganda "mainstream" media is uninformed and misinformed.

Are Mexican flags allowed? Plus, it’s NOT the BETSY ROSS flag. It’s the flag of a newly formed country, The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. She was a seamstress, not a country or even a founder. Our media is so dishonest.

Economists together felt that the lower number would be how many jobs would be created, based on their data.

The higher number basically blew their forecasts out of the water.
