That’s something I haven’t figured out yet. Emiliano Salinas (son of Carlos Salinas, former Mex president) is apparently in or on his way to Cuba because he’s worried about being indicted. He was Keith’s top dog in Mexico.
There were unconfirmed reports that Carlos had gone to the Clinton Foundation to have them lean on the DOJ to not indict Emiliano.
Salinas is buds with Carlos Slim, who lives in exile in Ireland. Salinas might be the capo de tutti capi of the cartels.
I think Raniere knows he wouldn’t last a second if he opened up to the Feds. Then again, making a deal to save his skin is right up his alley.
