Citing declining enrollment and rising costs, Green Mountain officials in January said this would be the last year in operation. The school closed in May after its final semester. The only hope for post-secondary education is to get rid of the institutions.
We offer several geography courses at the maritime college in Maine. The newest course is a GIS course, geographical information systems. I know little about the field but our logistics majors find the course useful and employers look favorably on those students who have taken the course.
That sounds just like East Germany right before it collapsed.
Who knew?
I don’t know, but I would have given myself an “A” no matter what.

Essentially, nothing that would get someone a real job or grad school upon graduation.
It should be auctioned and proceeds used to decrease student debt.
It was a sweet little college for the monied not very bright.
