The neocons in the Trump administration and Saudi Arabia and Netanyahu have created a situation where it is going to be very difficult for President Trump to avoid a war with Iran," she said.
"They have built all the building blocks, placed the dynamite and lit the fuse. It is going to be up to Donald Trump and his leadership whether or not he is going to cut that fuse and say, 'Hey, we need to get back on track and put the interest of the American people in our country first.'"
The Iraq War veteran also criticized Trump's recent actions toward the government in Tehran.
Gabbard criticized several recent actions including "escalating these crippling sanctions, withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal, designating Iran's military as a terrorist organization -- something unprecedented -- and continuing to deploy more and more U.S. troops," she said.

...We have to bring our troops home from Afghanistan. We are in a place in Afghanistan where we have lost so many lives."
She told Carlson conflict can make America less safe and cause more harm than good through what she called "wasteful regime-change wars."

Did she name the Trump official who she alleges put the limpet mines on the oil tankers?
Which is her way of saying, “Hey! I can be as stupid as AOC - look at me!!!”
I don’t face Mecca for the money, so I don’t need to be hostile Iran for the sake of Saudi Arabia.
I HELD OUT FOR SO LONG thinking that Iran wouldn’t be CRAZY enough to do these things.
But then when the morons in charge over there started saying things Baghdad Bob would have said, I realized, alas, they are NUTS!!
You cannot understand a military like the US Military until you are up against it.
Like Mike Tyson used to say when he was still good..”Everyone’s got a plan until they get hit”
My mother always said “if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything.”
So I’ll say something nice.
This history-deficient pandering libtard lightweight looks nice in a swim suit.
Uh... Bulls**t.
She’s gone now but deserves all the credit. Raised me to be niiiiiice and polite. ;^)
a day or two’s work that our fine USAF wants so greatly to handle for us
should cripple their nuclear ICBM strike force and factories supporting same
protect America (the Iranian dictators’ number ONE target for their nukes, as they have repeatedly threatened, stated)
please explain, genuinely curious.
Shut up Tulsa Oklahoma
Your a loser. From a loser demoncat corrupt to the core state
UH manoa. 94-98. Heco. The utility there is epically corrupt.
You cant do anything. Get a permit. Nothing without paying idiots off
Hawaii is a good vacation however. Kauai is the best
Yeah right...Trump needs to say that....eyeroll!
Far as I can tell from over here, that's pretty much exactly what Trump has been doing!
She is sounding like the FR Putin puffers! LOL
And yet after multiple provocations by Iran, we remain not at war with them. What a war monger Trump is!
Tulsi Gabbard was born on April 12, 1981, in Leloaloa, Maoputasi County, on American Samoas main island of Tutuila.
We have ANOTHER pick of the globalist elite that is not an Article II, Section 1, clause 5 Natural Born Citizen.
Because of Obamas 8 years, we cannot get the SCOTUS to adjudicate this Article III matter for the first time in US history.
Tuaua v. United States
According to the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), the people born in American Samoa including those born on Swains Island are nationals but not citizens of the United States at birth. If a child is born on any of these islands to any U.S. citizen, then that child is considered a national and a citizen of the United States at birth. In an amicus curiae brief filed in federal court, Samoan Congressman Faleomavaega supported the legal interpretation that the Citizenship Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment does not extend birthright citizenship to United States nationals born in unincorporated territories.
All U.S. nationals have statutory rights to reside in the United States (i.e., the 50 states and Puerto Rico), and may apply for citizenship by naturalization after three months of residency by passing a test in English and civics, and by taking an oath of allegiance to the United States. However, the INA makes clear that any national but not a citizen of the United States who at any time has been convicted of any aggravated felony, whether the aggravated felony was committed inside or outside the United States, is debarred from becoming a citizen of the United States
Here we go again!!!
She’s blaming the Trump administration for ratcheting up tensions with Iran, when they have in fact reacted with restraint in response to recent Iranian aggression. That sure sounds like Bulls**t to me. What part don’t you understand?
I disagree with the Congresswoman. Pulling out of the Iran Nuclear Deal was the RIGHT thing to do! And sanctions ARE effective. And no we can’t just pick up and leave Afghanistan in 24 hours.
I also don’t appreciate her slight against our alliance with Israel. Not saying everything they do or we do is perfect, but the anti-Israel bias there is plain.
However, the one touchy issue I could see someone of her stature capitalizing on to good effect is our close reliance on Saudi Arabia.
Agreed. For the most part she’s sticking to the war-mongering label her party has traditionally applied to the GOP, whether justified or not. In this particular case, it’s not justified. So, I think, like all the other Dim candidates, she is making arguments on what she thinks will sell to her party’s base, regardless of the facts.
One can almost hear her and her fellow candidates wishing for conflict to erupt so they can blame POTUS. It’s good politics for them. Bad for the country but good for them, so they’re secretly hoping we go to war.
“Gabbard criticized several recent actions including “escalating these crippling sanctions, withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal, designating Iran’s military as a terrorist organization”
What would she do, bomb them with pallets of cash?
