A Texas City woman said she was hurt and ashamed after being ordered to leave a city pool Sunday for breastfeeding her baby. Misty Daugereaux said she was nursing her 10-month-old son Maxx at the Nessler Family Aquatic Center.

I’ve seen women nursing who you can’t tell are, and others who use it as an excuse to expose themselves. The baby nurses on one side at a time. There’s no reason to virtually strip to the waist to do it except for the attention and exhibitionism.

Have you ever gone swimming in a pool? EVERY pool has biological fluid in it. A lot of it and it's not all fluid. There is a very high e coli count. LOL Don't drink the water

What about my rights to be at the pool with my child? My right not to be charged falsely for scoping on a woman refusing to keep herself covered up?
We live in a day and age when men are declining to be mentors to women in the work place, because women can come up with a charge that a man has made inappropriate remarks if he dares to correct them.
In this environment, you think it’s just this woman’s rights that prevail, and I have no rights.
I think you’re wrong. I don’t think you realize how terribly wrong things could go if a woman wanted to make a real stink at a pool, because you were deemed to be scoping on her.

The repercussions though.... If I am at the pool and I see these breasts out, and a girl named Misty is the one showing them off....then I might get aroused. This could cause all kinds of trouble at a kiddie pool.
