Me too. Are they like a peach..that once they're picked they don't continue to ripen? Our local produce always has Georgia peaches during the summer and they are amazing! I also like apricots. Buying fruit in a restaurant doesn't get it for me..its always hard and no taste. We are spoiled around our area. Fresh melons..strawberries..peaches..pears..apples..blueberries..blackberries..tomatoes...vegs..this is the ONE thing I would miss if I was to move south. Peabody is eating from her garden. Most people here can their produce from their gardens for the winter.

You closed at 2:30 at it was a short time after that I was reading and catching up on missed posts from last night.

I’ve always been an early riser, hubby is too though usually a few hours after I get up.

I love being up early by myself, sipping on a Diet Coke and cruising the web, when it is nice and quiet.

With plums and apricots I put them on a table where they get some sun, if they are hard when I buy them. But sometimes they go to mushy very fast. We have good melons here, and some produce. Some local grown, but a lot from Mexico. Lots of pecans grown here.

To me this is a definite case of obstruction of justice.

Always brought back pecans from my BIL's place, if I didn't feel like shelling then I'd stick in the upright freezer.

A while back, cleaning it out, decided to get rid of the older ones, I'm the squirrel's best friend.
