Compare these two statements:
“If we had confidence that the president did not commit a crime, we would have said so.”
or
“If we had confidence the president committed a crime, we would have said so.”
Are they equal? #Mueller

Muller tried today to have iut boith ways. If he thought President Trumpo was guilty of something he should have said he was guilty of something. Ken Starr used the word guilty 11 times on 11 different counts in his report on President Clinton. If not guilty Trump is innocent.

Mueller is the anti-Comey. He wants no PR. He doesnt seek nor does he need the spotlight. He wont write any op-eds. He lets his work speak for itself. And today he made no new news, other than announcing he is returning to the private sector.

Mueller presser-a lot of hype about nothing. Still NO evidence of obstruction & NO collusion regarding
@realDonaldTrump His excuse that if there was, he was prohibited to say so. NOT TRUE! Ken Starr, Special Counsel investigating Clinton used the word guilty several times. #MAGA
What's that line Q's repeated so many times?
Something about "you have it all" I think.....
(Also, Mueller may resign all he wants but his boss ain't obliged to accept it, and I don't think Barr's going to let go of Mueller for a long, long time.)
My evaluation: Mueller's panicked (as well as a whole bunch of fellow derps), he's just tossed his bag of crap off to the rats/media so he can run for cover and
the
poop's
entering
the
impeller.

Muellers new standard of justice - potentiality not guilty, could be innocent, not sure, but lets do a presser anyway.
We are devolving into a third-world Republic.

Will it be MSNBC Contributor Robert Mueller or CNN Contributor Robert Mueller?
Does your neighbor ship the kettle corn?
IDK will have to ask him.
It’s really good!
Hey, Gran! Hope you and yours are doing well!
As I said earlier BM is about to hit the fan! Initials or not!
Do not rule out that BHO spied on him also. (Or any of his cabinet people). When you have something as big as BHO has to hide one must always be looking over his shoulders. I do not think 2012 was when this began. It was much sooner.
We are, just getting old and have the usual grips. LOL

Todays statement by Mr. Mueller reinforces the findings of his report.
And as for me, the case is over.
Mr. Mueller has decided to move on and let the report speak for itself.
Congress should follow his lead.
As I originally stated, I appreciate Mr. Mueller and his team for rendering a service to our country by thoroughly investigating the allegations against the Trump campaign regarding Russia collusion.
As Mr. Mueller said today, the report speaks for itself.
The report shows there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and any member or operative of the Russian government.
However, there was a systematic effort by Russia to disrupt our election. We should be on guard for future election attacks by Russia & other bad actors.
I particularly appreciate Special Counsel Muellers statement today acknowledging that Attorney General Barr has made the report as transparent as possible, and the American people can largely read the report for themselves.
As to obstruction, the Mueller team failed to reach a conclusion and turned that task over to the Attorney General.
The AG, in concert with then-Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein, decided that as a matter of fact and law, an obstruction case against President Trump was not warranted.
As the Mueller report indicated, a possible obstruction case was a hodgepodge of complicated facts and law.
Without an underlying offense or collusion, and the overwhelming cooperation by the Trump White House with the Mueller investigation, the Attorney Generals decision on obstruction is sound.
INVESTIGATIVE SUMMARY
Findings of Misconduct by an FBI Deputy Assistant Director for Unauthorized Contacts with
the Media, Disclosing Law Enforcement and Other Sensitive Information to the Media, and
Accepting a Gift from the Media
The Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of the Inspector General (OIG) initiated this
investigation upon the receipt of information from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI),
alleging that a then FBI Deputy Assistant Director (DAD) had numerous contacts with members
of the media in violation of FBI policy. Additionally, it was alleged that the DAD may have
disclosed law enforcement or other sensitive information to the media without authorization.
This matter is among the OIG investigations referenced on page 430 of the OIGs Review of
Allegations Regarding Various Actions by the Department and the Federal Bureau of
Investigation (FBI) in Advance of the 2016 Election (June 2018;
https://www.justice.gov/file/1071991/download ).
The OIG investigation concluded that the DAD engaged in misconduct when the DAD: (1)
disclosed to the media the existence of information that had been filed under seal in federal
court, in violation of 18 USC § 401, Contempt of Court; (2) provided without authorization FBI
law enforcement sensitive information to reporters on multiple occasions; and (3) had dozens of
official contacts with the media without authorization, in violation of FBI policy.
The OIG also found that the DAD engaged in misconduct when the DAD accepted a ticket,
valued at approximately $225, to attend a media-sponsored dinner, as a gift from a member of
the media, in violation of federal regulations and FBI policy.
Prosecution of the DAD was declined.
The OIG has completed this investigation and is providing this report to the FBI for appropriate
action.
***
Unless otherwise noted, the OIG applies the preponderance of the evidence standard in determining
whether Department of Justice (DOJ) personnel have committed misconduct.
