Thanks! I wonder if he should have just let all the haters spend time and money investigating the money spent on the summa trophy only to discover he paid for it personally? OTOH, it would be reported as an abuse of taxpayer money, and then when the truth came out, not a word.
Ditto that.
Like!
Good to hear from you! My neighbor is a Trump supporter, but was talking about his age being a factor in the election. I told him the President is in much better shape and healthier than either one of us, and we are years younger than he is.

Thread: News Summary of the Past Week (19-25 May)
1. Heres a summary of interesting news and commentary from the past week, the likes of which always seems to be obfuscated and buried by the legacy media (in service of Democrat political objectives).
2. An incumbent conservative prime minister surprises the crap out of the Australian establishment by winning Down Under!
2A. Australia’s Liberal National coalition government under Prime Minister Scott Morrison has won a historic victory, taking his party for a third term in government against all expectations.
2B. The result will be devastating for the center-left Labor Party, which had been ahead in every opinion poll during the campaign and had expected to easily form a government after Saturday’s vote.
2C. “This was the unlosable election for the Labor Party. That’s how this was considered,” ABC’s Patricia Karvelas said from the Melbourne Labor event.

3. Gee, Google suspends Huawei after a Trump administration blacklisting. Trumpian leadership has an YUUUGE positive impact again, doesnt it, Barack? Sort of like a magic wand! Eat your heart out.
3A. Alphabet Incs Google has suspended business with Huawei that requires the transfer of hardware, software and technical services except those publicly available via open source licensing, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters on Sunday, .
3A1. in a blow to the Chinese technology company that the U.S. government has sought to blacklist around the world.
3B. The Trump administration on Thursday added Huawei Technologies Co Ltd to a trade blacklist, immediately enacting restrictions that will make it extremely difficult for the company to do business with U.S. counterparts.
3C. On Friday the U.S. Commerce Department said it was considering scaling back restrictions on Huawei to prevent the interruption of existing network operations and equipment.

4. 57% of Americans believe Trump will be reelected per a Rasmussen poll. Im surprised its that low, arent you?
4A. The latest http://ScottRasmussen.com survey found that 57% of voters nationwide now believe it is at least somewhat likely President Trump will be successful in next years campaign.
4B. Thats up from 54% a month ago, 50% two month ago and 46% in February.

5. More on Clapper, Comey and Brennan pointing fingers at each other from the inestimable Victor Davis Hanson (a REALLY good sign that the cabal is cracking!):
5A. James Clapper, John Brennan, and James Comey are now all accusing one another of being culpable for inserting the unverified dossier, the font of the effort to destroy Trump, into a presidential intelligence assessment .
5A1. as if suddenly and mysteriously the prior seeding of the Steele dossier is now seen as a bad thing.
5B. And how did the dossier transmogrify from being passed around the Obama Administration as a supposedly top-secret and devastating condemnation of candidate and then president-elect Trump to a rank embarrassment of ridiculous stories and fibs?
5C. Given the narratives of the last three years, and the protestations that the dossier was accurate or at least was not proven to be unproven, why are these former officials arguing at all?
5D. Did not implanting the dossier into the presidential briefing give it the necessary imprimatur that allowed the serial leaks to the press at least to be passed on to the public and thereby apprise the people of the existential danger that they faced?
5E. The appointment of William Barr as attorney general has sobered the lawbreakers, and perhaps soon the media, which may not wish to go down the drain with their erstwhile FBI and CIA speaking-truth-to-power heroes.
5F. No longer are Brennan, Clapper, Comey, and McCabe along with a host of others insisting that they acted nobly. No longer are they in solidarity in their defiant opposition to Donald Trump.
5G. Now, for the first time, they are pointing fingers at one another, because they have come to realize that their prior criminality may not be rewarded, praised, or even excused, but rather prosecuted.

6. Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA), ranking member of the House Intel Committee, released 8 transcripts on Monday:
6A. Transcripts of closed-door interviews with former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, and others were released Monday evening.
6B. Lynch and McCabes interviews were included in the stash, along with transcripts of interviews with former FBI Principal Deputy General Counsel Trisha Anderson, .
6B1. assistant director in charge of the FBIs New York Field Office William Sweeny, former FBI chief of staff James Rybicki, and others.
Read the rest here:
6C. Oh, BTW, in her transcript, Lynch denies tell Comey to turn change the reference to the Clinton email server from an investigation to a matter. One of the two lied about that under oath! I wonder who?
7. DoJ stiffs Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, in his quest to force former WH counsel Don McGahn to testify. Happy to see @POTUS playing hardball!
7A. The Department of Justice issued a memorandum to President Donald Trumps legal counsel Monday stating that Congress may not constitutionally compel the Presidents senior advisors to testify about their official duties.
7B. The DOJs eight page memorandum, written by Assistant Attorney General Steve Engel, clearly argues the separation of powers and states that Congress could not lawfully exercise any inherent contempt authority against Mr. McGahn for asserting immunity.
7C. The constitutional separation of powers bars Congress from exercising its inherent contempt power in the face of a presidential assertion of executive privilege.
Read the rest here:
8. Next, we learn that in 2016 John Brennan created a highly compartmentalized secret task force that was at the heart of the muh Russia hoax:
8A. [I]n the summer of 2016, CIA Director John Brennan convened a secret task force at CIA headquarters composed of several dozen analysts and officers from the CIA, the NSA and the FBI.
8B. The [Washington] Post described the unit as so secretive it functioned as a sealed compartment hidden even from the rest of the U.S. intelligence community; a unit whose workers were all made to sign additional non-disclosure forms.
8C. The number of Obama administration officials who were allowed access to the Russia intelligence was also highly limited, The Post reported.
8D. At first only four senior officials were involved: Brennan, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, Attorney General Loretta Lynch and then-FBI Director James Comey. Their aides were all barred from attending the initial meetings
8E. The compartmentalization may help to explain why it was only Brennans CIA, Comeys FBI and the NSA that penned the January 6, 2017 U.S. Intelligence Community report alleging Russian interference in the presidential race.
8F. Numerous news media reports originally falsely claimed the report was authored by all 17 U.S. intelligence agencies.

9. San Fran Nan ambushes @POTUS before the infrastructure summit by accusing him of a cover-up. (Never mind that the Democrats are desperate to cover up information associated with #Spygate!)
9A. While briefly speaking to reporters on Wednesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) weighed in on allegations of wrongdoing by President Donald Trump and went as far as accusing Trump of engaging in a cover-up.
9B. We do believe its important to follow the facts, she said. We believe that no one is above the law, including the president of the United States. And we believe the president of the United States is engaged in a cover-up.
9B1. Read the rest:
9C. I covered her political stunt in spades in this thread, including contrasting the political class with our President:
https://twitter.com/STUinSD/status/1131267953436090368
10. Meanwhile, Democrats continue colluding with Iran (and committing Logan Act violations!):
10A1. to drive a wedge between President Donald Trump and his national security team.
10B. The direct line between Tehran and top Democrats spilled further into public view last week when photographs from the cellphone of Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s (D., Calif.), a member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, .
10B1. showed that she had been in contact with Zarif, a primary architect of the nuclear accord.
10C. Former Secretary of State John Kerry, for instance, has engaged multiple times in shadow diplomacy, meeting with Zarif on several occasions to plot how Iran can salvage the nuclear deal and retain its access to the billions in cash windfalls.
10D. Read the rest here:
11. Victor Davis Hanson agrees that the walls are closing in on the cabal/conspiracy:
11A. [H]ow can we tell that the former accusers are now terrified of becoming the accused? Because suddenly the usual band of former Obama officials and Trump accusers have largely given up on their allegations that Trump was or is a Russian asset.
11B. Instead, John Brennan, James Clapper, James Comey, Andrew McCabe and Rod Rosenstein are now beginning to accuse each other of wrongdoing.
11C. Even their progressive media handlers are starting to sense the desperation in their new yarnsand the possibility that these hired-gun analysts or guests were themselves guilty of crimes and were using their media platforms to fashion their own defense.
11D. The end of the Mueller melodrama has marked the beginning of real fear in Washington.
11E. Comey is terrified that former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, whom Comey attacked as a Trump enabler, knows that Comey himself may have broken the lawand may direct prosecutors on how to prove it.
11F. Comey also claims the Steele dossier was not the chief evidence for a FISA warrant. McCabe insists that it was. Its possible that one might work with prosecutors against the other to finagle a lesser charge.
11G. A former CIA official claims that Comey put the unverified Steele dossier into an intelligence community report on alleged Russian interference. Comey has contended that Brennan was the one who did. Its possible that both did.
11H. Read the rest here:
https://amgreatness.com/2019/05/22/federal-rats-are-fleeing-the-sinking-collusion-ship/
12. Then we find out from the transcript of former FBI Deputy General Counsel Trisha Anderson that the Page FISA was handled much differently than other FISA warrant applications:
12A. She said the Page FISA was approved outside regular procedures. “Because there were very high-level discussions that occurred about the FISA,” Anderson said she believed that meant the FISA essentially had already been well-vetted
12B. all the way up through at least the Deputy Director [McCabe] level on our side and through the DAG [Yates] on the DOJ side. Yates had already signed the application by the time it made it to Andersons desk.
The rest here:
12C. Hmmm. Outside regular procedures. Smells like a politically-motivated action at the highest levels of DoJ and the FBI to me. The signers of that app are in deep kimche.
13. @POTUS delegated authority to AG Barr to declassify and release information from multiple federal agencies that is associated with the muh Russia investigation and #Spygate.
13A. President Donald Trump has directed the heads of several government agencies to cooperate with Attorney General William Barrs investigation of the origins of the Russia probe.
13B. In a memo sent out Thursday, Trump also authorized Barr to declassify documents related to the Russia investigation.
13C. The memo grants Barr the authority to declassify, downgrade, or direct the declassification or downgrading of information or intelligence related to the Russia probe as he sees fit.
Read the rest here:
https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/statement-press-secretary-34/
13D. And of course, that has driven the Democrats crazy, as they cry crocodile tears that sources and methods will be compromised by the release of documents associated with #Spygate.
13E. Funny that they werent too concerned about the continuous leaks of classified information to legacy media by various congressional and DoJ/FBI sources when that furthered the anti-Trump narrative over the past two years. The usual hypocrisy from them.
14. Heres the summary for the week:
14A. The incumbent conservative Aussie shocks the Australian establishment and is reelected (shades of 2016 in the US!).
14B. Google backs off their bromance with Huawei. Great news to curtail tech spying by the Chinese!
14C. 57% of Americans believe DJT will be reelected in 2020. Does anyone seriously think anyone in the Democrats Star Wars bar scene (aka presidential pretenders) has a shot?
14D. More infighting among the criminal law firm of Clapper, Comey and Brennan. Theyre getting desperate, folks, because they know Hell is coming for them!
14E. 8 more transcripts were released by Rep. Collins and there will be dozens more in the coming weeks. Lynch and Comey are at odds over who decided to call the Hillary email server investigation a matter vice an investigation in 2016. The Dems can run, but they cant hide.
14F. DoJ stiffed Jerry Nadlers subpoena of former WH counsel McGahn. Too bad, so sad, Jerry! We dont need more grandstanding by you and congressional Democrats on the debunked Russia collusion and obstruction of justice front.
14G. San Fran Nan staged a political stunt before the WH infrastructure meeting, and @POTUS gave she and Schumer the boot. He was ready for their nonsense, knowing full well that Democrats are only interested in impeaching him instead of dealing with real problems.
14H. Democrats continue violating the Logan Act by holding discussions with Iranian officials. They want to resurrect Obamas failed nuke deal and get rid of the Trump sanctions that are squeezing the mullahs.
14I. VDH gives us many clues on why the walls are closing in on the cabal which warms the cockles of my heart!
14J. A former FBI lawyers transcript of her testimony to Congress reveals the politically-motivated handling of the Page FISA warrant application. Trouble for all those who signed that app!
14K. And the big bombshell was POTUSs delegation of authority to AG Barr to declassify information from the IC and other govt agencies related to the muh Russia investigation and #Spygate, causing severe panic in Democrat and Deep State ranks.
15. And that wraps up a pretty interesting week! It seems like there has been a crescendo of bombshells and revelations over the several weeks, and the outlook for more is pretty good, too and the news is good for @POTUS and us and bad for the miserable Democrats! ///The end.
Excellent work. It needs a thread of its own so it is easily found and accessed. Not sure how a thread with multiple links is set up. Jim would know!
When I saw the V sign, I immediately thought of VJ Day. Maybe VJ Day wasn’t publicized much in Japan. LOL
I don’t even know how to post a thread, never even tried. LOL
Sure has a boat load on info in there tho.
First projections in France say Le Pen has beaten Macron's party.
