When PEAS first came up, someone commented that GITMO "residents" where referred to as carrots due to orange jumpsuits. PEAS and carrots was referenced. Recently Q mentioned Schiff's meeting with Simpson in Aspen as "Forrest Gump like encounter".....hmmmm

When I think about it, I suspect that this operation was along the lines of convincing politicians of both parties that there were WMDs in Iraq so bad that we must invade and overthrow. And the pols believed the nonsense materials provided by corrupt bureaucrats. Just think of those Republicans like Ryan who were inundated with lies from the Obama intel and injustice departments. And they believed the lies. Because they wanted to believe the lies.

The commander of the joint task force that operates the detention camps at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, has been fired, U.S. Southern Command announced Sunday.

Rear Adm. John Ring, commander of Joint Task Force-Guantanamo, was relieved Saturday by SOUTHCOM commander Adm. Craig Faller due to a loss of confidence in his ability to command, officials said in a release. Army Brig. Gen. John Hussey, deputy commander of JTF-GTMO, is now serving as acting commander.
