You would think "pressing issues" would cause allies to meet, not cancel a meeting.
Pompeo was in Finland yesterday and was supposed to meet with Merkel today.
My first thought is this is Obama's doing--remember his recent visit?

Democrats cannot force Barr to turn over documents which the governing Special Counsel Statute declares he does NOT need to turn over simply because they want it. Their subpoena power does not override the law. This is not the wild west.
