“The riders of the 18 (Long Range Toddy) and 20 (Country House) horses of the Kentucky Derby lodged objections against the 7 horse (Maximum Security), the winner, due to interference turning for home near the quarter pole. We had a lengthy review of the race. We interviewed affected riders. We determined that the 7 horse drifted out and impacted the progress of No. 1, in turn interfering with the 18 and 21. Those horses were all affected, we thought, by the interference.

“Now, therefore, we unanimously determined to disqualify No. 7 and place him behind the No. 18, the 18 being the lowest-placed horse that he bothered, which is our typical procedure.”

Owner Gary West said they would first like to review the video with the stewards, but he was told that would not be possible until May 9. He said the rule may require that they file the appeal before Thursday to meet a deadline. But West had not made a decision on an appeal as of Saturday evening.

“We’ll just have to look at the films and see what we think after looking at the films,” West said. “We need to look at what the stewards looked at. If we can’t look at films until Thursday, we’ll have to make a decision before that, probably.”

West also said, “If the horse did something wrong, then I won’t feel bad at all.”

If NBC wasn't doing the race and demanding it to start right after a big downpour...Churchill Down would have had time to go out with their tractors and work the track again as they did right before the horses came out on the track for post time.

We have been in the infield and club house over 40 times (during Derby Day)and we know the noise of the crowd and conditions there at that track. We use to take our summer vacation going every day to the track many years ago. To take a horse down and place him OUT of the MONEY is a disgrace!!! Churchill Downs has really done an injustice but thankfully racing experts will give Max his due when breeding comes. Hopefully nothing comes before then.

I’m rereading Glenn Simpsons testimony in front of both the house and senate and I wanted to direct you to the fact that Simpson says he brought Steele on to look at Russia because Trump had never executed a business deal in Russia. Remember this.

In addition- one of the initial “triggers” of malfeasance (as Simpson insinuates) is President Trumps interactions with Felix Sater. A known “Russian mobster” who is actually a high level US intelligence asset. Open source work on him proves that - BEFORE Trump is a glimmer.

If Fusion were worth its salt as open source investigators as they claim, a quick search on Sater would have revealed this tie to the IC in the hearings for the confirmation of Loretta Lynch. They didn’t mention it. What was Sater doing?
