We’ve had a LOT, over the past few weeks, but we are good, for now...here in SE TX.

Tax Day of 2016 was a bad rain, followed up by Harvey the following year.

Praying we don’t get any hurricanes, this fall/season.

I have relatives (first cousins) who are rabbid Dims. I have others who are Dims, but not rabbid.

It certainly makes for interesting conversations/discussions, when we do get together...which, thankfully, is not very often.

FRA (Full Retirement Age)depends on when you are born

this is a decent description of what the FRA is based on date of birth.

Just a note..the Feds did away with filing for a “restricted” benefit.
They did grandfather it in for Dates of Birth prior to January 2, 1954.

I had to look twice regarding this benefit. Why this was in the law makes me think we are nutz.
It works best if both are FRA(Full Retirement Age)
I retired in august 2015 @ 66. I took my SS. My wife is also 66 but decided to keep working.
The Feds allowed her to file a “restricted” application where she gets half of my monthly benefit as a spousal benefit under my SS.
She put that in the bank. She is now ready to take her own 70 year old benefit that accrued @ 8 % a year. She’ll now get approx. 32% more than if she had taken the benefit @ 66.
(There’s no benefit to waiting til after 70 years old to claim, as the accrual stops @ 70.)

All in all what did you think of the hearing? All in all, how did Barr do? And all in all, which Republican did the best in countering the lying Dems?
