I think hiring someone to help is better than risking injury to you or hubby.
I agree with Rusty. My husband has finally listened to me and has hired someone to get on our roof and clean out our gutters. He started having a company come last year. He's 72 and I think way past the age for help. Always lean on the side of caution when a permanent damage could happen bgill. Take care.

I agree w/Rusty and NIKK.....find a couple of strapping young men and hire them for an hour, to move this (what looks to be pretty heavy) bed.
Maybe from the local hardware store? They might know of some young men who will be happy to help, for a small fee :)
Good luck. The cheapo version, on Amazon, weighs 140 lbs. I would imagine this bed weighs more than that.
