The extra $900 billion was just incorporated into the “continuing resolutions” that were passed by both the Dems and the GOP for over 10 years instead of a budget as required.
Now, you can see how Obama “overspent” by $10 trillion in just 8 years.
It was BOTH the Dems and the GOP using US, the American taxpayer, as their personal piggybank.
Schumer,Pelosi,McConnell,Ryan,Boehner—they were all in on it.
Let me give you an example from here in little Delaware.
In 2009, ten years ago, we had two auto plants employing 3,000 people. One was GM and one was Chrysler. The GM plant had a coveted railhead which meant whatever was produced could be shipped anywhere in North America.
Even though DE’s own Joe Biden was VP, and Obama took over GM, the GM plant was closed.
Then the Chrysler plant was closed.
Three thousand good paying jobs (in a state of less than one million people) vanished.
Oh, but not to worry—Fisker Automotive was going to make electric cars, and thanks to Obama and Biden, would make them here in Delaware. Over $500 million (that is half a billion dollars for those in Rio Linda) was set aside for Fisker to develop this automobile. The State of Delaware gave them an additional $21 million as an incentive to come here.
Fisker blew through $163 million of the Federal money and all $21 million of the State money—and did not produce one single car in Delaware!
$184 million and not so much as a fender made.
The Dems made out like bandits literally here.
Fisker got off scotfree, and the State had to pick up the utility costs to maintain an empty Chrysler plant for years.
Then the University of Delaware, with State money, bought the complex for some kind of energy development park. Again, a shell game with taxpayer funds which was heralded as “progress” with great fanfare.
Everybody skimmed off the top, every time.
And that was all the stimulus was, that Biden was in charge of.
A redistribution of wealth, for which nothing remains—but rich politicians who still deign to tell us how to live.
