Hi NIKK! This was a very informative post.
I’m trying to catch up, didn’t get much sleep and then got up early and headed to the Hummer House. There’s so many different birds there, I can’t remember their names. They held a hummingbird to our ear, they are warm and their heart beats 1200 times a minute and sounds like an ocean wave. The guy that was catching birds to band took us with him in his pickup to collect the birds, and let us set them free when they were done. It was amazing.
