Parked Tesla Spontaneously Explodes In Chinese Garage
About 24 hours ahead of Teslas coming Investor Day and just moments after we broke the news that Tesla had been granted a restraining order on a short seller who has been critical of the company on Twitter, stunning video has surfaced of a Tesla catching fire and exploding, while parked.
A self proclaimed Tesla owner in Shanghai that Tweets under the name @ShanghaiJayIn posted video on his Twitter moments ago of what appears to be a Tesla Model S, 1st generation, catching fire spontaneously in a Chinese parking garage.
Video at the bottom shows the aftermath of the fire
Aftermath hopefully we will hear from Tesla what truly happened. pic.twitter.com/DuFi0pW9dk

The Air Force uses a ‘foam’ fire control system in their aircraft hangars.
Perhaps Tesla should install them in their customers’ garages................
Please do not confuse us with your racist facts!

PS Thanks for the DOCUMENTED comment!

LOL!
Dude, the sun is not on fire. We have known that for many years.
I am pretty sure this is caused by those wonderful Lithium Ion Batteries.
So, one is to assume you don’t have any laptops or cellphones in your house ...
Ya. Lol.
Autos in the ‘50s still had a manual choke. Put a spark plug in the exhaust, wired to an old ignition coil. Pull out the choke to get a really, really rich mixture. When ignited, it would explode and throw a 20 foot flame out the exhaust.
It’s the “good” muzzies vehicle of choice now. Vans are so passe’. Wonder if Omar has one?
Depends on the method of extinguishing the fire, of course. An extinguisher that is designed for gasoline (oxygen based) will not work on a battery.
Along with your muffler.......................
I repeat:
Please cite an example of a non-chemical fire ...
But it’s green. Just ask the table dancer from NYC. Oops, I mean bartender.
A Halon system is best for electrical fires. Probably only mildly toxic to humans.
Tesla batteries are fully sealed. No gas produced. LiOn
The problem is that people are looking to put a bank of batteries in their homes to store the solar energy from their solar panels.
God help us if one of the homes with a bank of these batteries light off. If it can happen with a cell phone battery then it can happen with a bank of batteries holding 1000x the energy.
I repeat....

BOL!
Just buy a Tesla on time, short Tesla stock, then..., blow up the car and cover your short position? What could go wrong???
You left out the perfect timing of the video showing the Tesla blowing up.
Please quit ducking.
Please cite an example of a non-chemical fire ...
