Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.) urged her supporters to join her in a hunger strike to push for action to "shut down" U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), arguing the radical push to abolish ICE can't be achieved by Congress.
Tlaib, headlining a Detroit fundraiser this past weekend for the Michigan Coalition for Human Rights, complained of colleagues who are constantly "policing" what she says and lack willingness to embrace bold stands such as abolishing ICE. She called on her activist audience to join her in a hunger strike at the border.

n the last week of March, dozens of asylum-seekers held by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at the River Correctional Center in Ferriday, La., initiated a hunger strike. Activists said 150 people joined the demonstration, while ICE put the number at 24.
It was a short-lived demonstration, ending on March 30, according to ICE. But it was at least the sixth hunger strike at a detention center in the first three months of 2019 alone.
“We have never seen so many hunger strikes in so many different places in less than three, four months,” said Maru Mora Villalpando, an immigrants rights activist based in Washington state. “And the ones we have been able to engage with have been led by asylum-seekers.”
Yeah lol, hunger strikes usually occur on countries where there is REAL brutal oppression against the people.

The real irony is these border jumpers want the same socialist system that failed in their own country to take care of them in OUR country. Because America is bigger, they think we will bring better socialistic results. Little do they know that this same parasitic relationship will bring failure in any country that it is tried.

OK, I need to lose some weight so I will do some fasting for ICE. So, I will cut down on chocolate sauce with my ice cream. Will that help?
