1946, about 9 months after the end of WW2. Guess my parents celebrated the end of the war in a “special” way. And now you know how I chose my screen name.

Depression baby...Born 1933...

However, I can still kick the ass of any communist/demoncrat I come across... The only change with age is that, when attacked, you cannot afford to just hurt someone... They have to be out of action for keeps or you are in big trouble...

The cut-off for Gen X seems to vary a lot. Some sources place the end at 1980, while other sources place the end as late as 1982. What I do know is that I really do not feel any different than I did when I was 20.

Putting your generation on a forum post is not putting anything at risk. You are posting on an unsecured political site; you think you haven’t been cataloged six ways to Sunday?

My guess is you are a pre-boomer.

I think it’s interesting to see the spread of ages. I often thought this place was full of fossils. I am not wrong.

"...as a Roman so im 2000 years old..."

Are you the one named Rory that stood, for 2000 years, guarding Amelia Pond?

I’ve seen some demographers use 1960 as the cut off, with generations going 22 years.

I think for the most part they get “cuspy” a couple of years on either side.

Social sciences are not “strict.”
