FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
April 26, 2019
** PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP IS DEFENDING OUR SOVEREIGNTY AND CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS FROM THE UNITED NATIONS ARMS TRADE TREATY
** We will never surrender Americas sovereignty to an unelected, unaccountable, global bureaucracy. President Donald J. Trump
**
PROTECTING AMERICAS INTERESTS: President Donald J. Trump is putting America first and ensuring we are not bound by the United Nations (UN) misguided Arms Trade Treaty (ATT).
DEFENDING OUR SOVEREIGN RIGHTS: President Trump is protecting our countrys sovereignty and standing up for our constitutional rights.
* President Trump has pledged to defend Americas sovereignty and always put America first and this decision follows through on that pledge.
+ The President has repeatedly acted to protect and preserve our sovereignty, including by taking strong action to head off possible investigation of United States military and intelligence personnel by the International Criminal Court.
* There is a track record of the ATT being used by groups to try and overturn sovereign national decisions on arms exports.
+ For example, organizations sued the United Kingdom under the treaty to try and prevent a legal transfer of arms to Saudi Arabia.
* By announcing the United States will not join the ATT, President Trump is ensuring this agreement will not become a platform to threaten Americans Second Amendment rights.
* The United States export controls have long been considered the gold standard for engaging in responsible arms trading and we will continue to use them under our own laws.
+ The ATT is simply not needed for the United States to engage in responsible arms trade.
+ America will continue to abide by United States laws that ensure our arms sales are implemented after careful legal and policy reviews.
** A MISGUIDED AGREEMENT: The ATT fails to actually address the problem of irresponsible arms transfers.

Who does he think wears Levi’s?
Chip Bergh just shot himself in the foot!
I consider Fast and Furious and Benghazi scandals at the least. Oh, and the IRS targeting conservatives.
Ditto that!
Thanks for posting.
Thanks for posting. Didn’t Levis move most of their operations to Mexico?
I always smile when the reporter says “FOX ON THE SCREEN”.
Then there were things like the Amwan brothers who should have been charged with stealing who knows what off the House dims computers but all swept under the proverbial rug.
Hitlery not being charged and all that went on there is a YUGE scandal.
Bo Bergdahl........
The tarmac meeting.....
And on....
And on...
OK- what DID she know, and when did she know it, if she did know about something illegal going on? Just asking the question. No character assassination intended. Full stop.
What about ALL of the other good men and women of the FBI, DOJ, CIA, NSA, ODNI, and all other alphabet agencies that knew something, but did not say anything?
I was a whistleblower at an operational nuclear power plant. I called out 17 safety deficiencies that my own carpenter department was guilty of committing (after reviewing our work procedures manual during a mandatory 5 day stand down) and found myself moved to another work area. The deficiencies were not corrected to my knowledge.
Finding no support from my front line supervision, I did my part in notifying the plant management and then self terminated my position at the power plant due to a hostile work environment. I subsequently left the trade union that I belonged to, and never looked back.
I do sleep well at night due to the maintaining of my integrity. I gained an immeasurable amount of respect from my brother and sister carpenters, but- it did come at a personal cost. When one’s conscience calls, one simply MUST do the right thing, in spite of the cost. I suspect that those fat paychecks and future automatic pension deposits have helped to zip up more than one or two mouths in some of these departments. SMH
There is panic right now in DC among never trumper and Dems.
Pence former CoS is covering his behind. His wife is involved.
GOOD!
Tom Donoghue needs to wake up tomorrow with a horse head in his bed. Go f perform an impossible self-abuse act on yourself, you filthy global tyrant.
Charles Payne saying to COC and others- "You're not the kingmakers anymore!"
Trillions of dollars are at stake. Our trillions! WINNING!
Was it Mexico, or China?
I cant remember which.
Long list.
The record: In 1992, The Washington Post exposed the companys exploitation of Chinese prison labor to make jeans. Levi Strauss responded by creating a code of labor standards. But when the venerable American brand shifted all of its manufacturing overseas in 2002, laying off thousands of workers, it resorted once again to relying on labor from China, Bangladesh and nearly 50 other countries. Many of these factories, including a Levi Strauss supplier in Durango, Mexico, have been accused of violating the companys ethical code by not allowing labor organization, forcing workers to work more than 12 hours a day and withholding overtime pay. In 2005, workers fired from the Durango supplier for organizing successfully won their jobs back, with overtime and back pay.

PS to my previous post. No wonder they don’t like people being able to defend themselves. :-)
