Exactly, since they hid and fought the pubbies from uncovering anything, wouldn’t give the committees documents or come testify so they could they claim NO scandals.

Remember well how upset and angry Gowdy has gotten at times.

If would really frost me when Obummer would say not one scintilla of scandal.

We can only pray that the lid is soon to be blown off and the truth will slap them all in the face.

Obama’s diabolical racist rhetoric gave disgruntled blacks the spark needed to incite them to violence against LEOs, leading to the murder of many officers.

That, not one audience member walked out on this treasonous usurper during the Dallas memorial is beyond me. SPIT!

Subject: WH Pool Report #1 - Departure/Quotes

Trump left the WH from the South Portico at 9:21 am for his departure to the NRA Convention in Indianapolis. He tweeted his excitement about the event this morning.

The president stopped to take questions from reporters. Some quotes below. Please check against transcript.

Economy: “I’m not allowed to comment on the new GDP numbers until 10-15 min from now.”
“We’re knocking it out of the park.”

Otto Warmbier: “We did not pay money for our great Otto.”

“I haven’t paid money for any hostage.”

“The Otto case is a very unusual case.”

Don McGahn: “I never told Don McGahn to fire Mueller. If I wanted to fire Mueller I would have done it myself ... I had the right to.”

“I’m a student of history, I see what you get when you fire people.”

Measles: “They have to get the shots. The vaccinations are so important.”

On the age of presidential candidates: “Well I still feel like a young man. I’m still young ...
I’m a young, vibrant man.”

Clarifying his comments on Charlottesville ‘very fine people’: “I’ve answered that question and I was talking about people who went because they felt very strongly about the statue of Robert E Lee.”

“He was a great general.”

“People were there protesting the taking down of the monuments.”

North Korea/Pompeo: “We’re doing very well with North Korea.”
“There’s a lot of excitement ... we’re getting a deal done with North Korea.”

“We got our hostages back we’re getting remains back.”

Whether he will allow McGahn to testify in front of Congress: “What we’re doing in the history of our country, there’s never been a president that’s been more transparent than me.”

“I let everybody testify ... I think McGahn was in there for 30 hours.”

“Obviously McGahn thought he testified fine because he was with the administration a long time after that.”

“With all of this transparency we finished no collusion no obstruction ...
And then I get out and the first thing they say, ‘let’s do it again.’”

He boarded Marine One at 9:29 am and is on his way to Indiana. Handing off to travel pool.

Big AF1 today. Breakfast was BLT sandwiches with avocado and cheese (or salad for the healthier folks), berries and potatoes on the side. Fox News on the screens.

Hogan Gidley came by with a quick hello to pooler, but no remarks.

Wheels down at 11:08 ET in Indianapolis where POTUS to give key remarks at NRA convention at Lucas Oil Stadium.

POTUS disembarked at 11:20. Shook hands with greeters lined up to meet him. Clapped and turned to reporters saying “Great numbers on Wall Street” before boarding the Beast.

Small crowd waited for the president behind yellow barricades on the tarmac cheered when he came out.
Greeters:
Governor Eric Holcomb
Governor of Indiana

Senator Todd Young
United States Senator from Indiana

Senator Mike Braun
United States Senator from Indiana

Representative Jackie Walorski
United States Representative from Indiana’s 2nd Congressional District

Representative Jim Banks
United States Representative from Indiana’s 3rd Congressional District

Representative Jim Baird
United States Representative from Indiana’s 4th Congressional District

Representative Greg Pence
United States Representative from Indiana’s 6th Congressional District

More to come...

Motorcade arrived Lucas Oil Stadium at 11:39 ET.

VP Mike Pence was speaking when pool entered the stadium. “like all of you, we stand for freedom.”

“Our pioneers won the west with their daring and courage - and Springfield’s, winchestersa and colts.”

“There are no greater champions of America’s tradition of gun ownership ... Than the proud men and women of the NRA.”

“Under this president and this vice president no one is taking your guns.”

Also quick correx from pool report #2: Hogan said quick hello to poolers, plural, not just the one.

Thanks, more to come

Subject: Travel pool #5 — POTUS takes stage
Reply-To: xxx@csmonitor.com

Bit of a wait before POTUS took stage after VP. Three full songs. Chris Cox, executive director of NRA-ILA introduced the president instead. POTUS took stage at 12:15 ET to “God Bless the USA.” Walked around the stage, applauding, as the song played out. Crowd was on its feet, phones raised, throughout.

Crowd is engaged, applauding after most of his talking points.

Some remarks below, again please check with transcript:

“Collusion delusion has been exposed as a complete and total fraud” got a standing ovation.

“Democrats are obsessed with hoaxes, delusions, and witch hunts. We can play the game just as well or better than they do.”

Took a second to greet FLOTUS happy birthday as crowd cheered.
