You are so right. My dad was Cherokee. I had people, all my life, telling me I needed to sign up for free stuff because of that. I told them it (the horrible treatment) didn’t happen to me and wasn’t committed by anyone living. My dad never gave me that bad advice, thankfully. Although, I wouldn’t have listened.

My son wants to be a normal productive person. When he goes nuts, he has them check out his meds. Since he has other work related problems that ended up with 2 bad back surgeries and broken foot/ ankle, he does pretty good. So, he’s on opioid on top of the other medications. He’s still working, on and off with his kids because of his crazy ex.
He gets in the depths of depression sometimes and it scares me. I would take his pain if I could.
