During the 2018 Midterms in the United States, strange signs started appearing at political rallies. Held up by non-descript attendees, the signs read simply, We are Q. For those Trekkers out there, you might be confused: no, these rallygoers were not making an oblique reference to the infamous Star Trek: The Next Generation character portrayed by John de Lancie. The group appeared from the fringes of internet chat rooms, such as on the website of 4Chan, a peculiar mixture of cyberpunks and various online misfits.
Q is derived from an anonymous poster on the internet forum, a source claiming to have a top secret clearance with the U.S. intelligence community. This person (or group of people) spun an intricate conspiracy theory that many Far Right activists on gonzo internet forums picked up and began disseminating to wider audiences online and in their communities.
The conspiracy goes like this: the real purpose of the Robert Mueller special counsel investigation was not to investigate Donald Trump, but instead to investigate Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and people like former Hillary Clinton campaign chairman, John Podesta. The QAnon conspiracy theory is far-reaching, with new pieces added with regularity, in the form of what Q supporters refer to as breadcrumbs. One such addition to the conspiracy theory last year was that the Mueller probe was also looking into the now-deceased Senator John McCain (R-AZ) for his illegal activities.
What is the ultimate end of the QAnon conspiracy; what does Mueller hope to achieve, according to them?
That part, like most conspiracy theories, is conveniently not knowable. The Mueller investigation, having ended in a whimper rather than the bang the Trump-hating Fake News was hoping for, should have been the end of the QAnon conspiracy theory. QAnon conspiracy theorists have simultaneously argued that the ultimate target of the Mueller investigation is either the Deep State of nefarious anti-American, globalist actors, or the aim is to pursue high-profile pedophiles in the United States government and in other powerful circles related to the government.
QAnons Pernicious Connections to Pizzagate
Now for the most pernicious aspect of the QAnon conspiracy theory. In 2016, conspiracists on 4Chan and other similar fringe messaging boards claimed that the emails stolen from Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podestas (and subsequently made public by WikiLeaks) contained secret messages referring to a powerful ring of pedophiles who were using a local Washington, D.C. pizzeria as a base of operations to conduct their crimes. None of these claims were true. But, what ended up happening was that the highly irresponsible conspiracy theory triggered a mentally unstable man, who in turn took a gun to a D.C. pizzeria with intent to use it.
The source material for these theories is the vile, uber-fringe 4Chan and 8Chan. 4Chan was launched in 2003 as a place to share images and discuss Japanese anime. In fact, it was modeled on the Japanese anime internet boards, such as Futaba Channel. Over time, though, the already eclectic group of online personalities that 4Chan attracted devolved into something darker. It became a haven for crazed conspiracy theorists from both sides of the political divide. 4Chan also became popular among the white nationalist community, and also became a place for hackers and other criminalsincluding child pornographers. If there was a Hell on the internet, 4Chan was Hell.
Meanwhile, a similar website, created by gonzo software developer, Frederick Brennan, 8Chan was launched in 2013 as a response to what Brennan believed was the rise in authoritarianism, censorship, and surveillance on 4Chan. Despite the fact that 8Chan has become the 3,857th most viewed website in the world, with an average of 35,000 unique visitors per day and 400,000 original posts per day, it too has become mired in controversy. 8Chan, which has been billed as the more libertarian (though, perhaps libertine would be better) 4Chan, has apparently become a hub of international child pornography postings. This became such a problem that, in 2015, 8Chan was blacklisted by Google search. It is a profound understatement to claim that anything positive or good comes from these boards. Yet, it is precisely from sites like these that the Pizzagate and now the QAnon conspiracy theories emanate.
Alternative media figures, such as Mike Cernovich, have also furthered the Pizzagate and QAnon conspiracy theories. Some of these individuals have massive social media followings. With big internet names furthering the conspiracies, it was only a matter of time before disaster struck. In 2016, when the pizzeria shooting happened, several media outlets attempted to lay the blame at the feet of people like Cernovich. This only gave the Fake News Industrial Complex more fuel in their ongoing war against President Trump and the Right.
The very same group of internet Alt-Right activists and online forums that furthered the Pizzagate conspiracy have also spread the QAnon conspiracy theory.
Here are some of the other bizarre, totally inaccurate predictions that QAnon has made:
01/21/18 A flood was alleged to be coming. A flood consisting of various forms of media that I imagine were supposed to implicate somebody in something nefarious. Sadly, this flood never came.
01/21/18 Q makes some very certain claims about the Nunes Memo, which of course do not come remotely true when the memo is released a couple weeks later.
01/22/18 Q posts a confirmed fake Podesta email, then promptly deletes it. But not before his followers have time to notice. 02/09/18 Next week [Next week] was declared suicide weekend. Nothing came to pass.
02/21/18 Q predicts that the founder of Twitter is removing accounts because he and his Deep State friends are in deep trouble. Nothing came to pass.
03/15/18 Q declares March Madness and that the public will soon know. Nothing came to pass.
04/02/18 April was supposed to be a BIG month, full of happenings including but not limited to arrests, the release of the IG report, the wall, military start, and unsealed indictments. Nothing came to pass.
Where Does QAnon Go From Here?
Things have gotten even stranger for the QAnon conspiracists now that Special Counsel Robert Mueller has submitted his final report. While the report has not yet been made public, Attorney General William Barr has seen it, and he has issued a summary of the report.
AG Barr explains that Mueller has not proven any collusion or coordination between President Donald Trump, his top 2016 campaign staffers, and Russian intelligence. The focus of the investigation was Donald Trump and his 2016 presidential campaign. Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Podesta, or even John McCain were not targets of the Mueller probe in any way as Q promised.
The fact that the QAnon conspiracy theory is tied in with the Pizzagate fiasco is bad enough. The more damaging part is that these cult-like actors link themselves to the Trump movement, despite the fact that no member of the Trump movement has anything to do with these insane theories. They are the outgrowth of a pathetic group who exist online, in the dark corners of the worldwide web. That they have attached their delusions to the Trump movement is unfortunate.
But, they do not represent and are not affiliated with President Trump, his supporters, or those who work for the president.
Recently, some Q supporters have insisted that certain pictures of President Trump and key advisers in the White House prove that they are, in fact, members of the Q conspiracy because their positioning makes it appear as though they are displaying subliminal messages about Q. These internet personalities claim to be supporting the President. Yet, consistently, their actions have shown that they are not allies of the President. They damage and besmirch the Trump movement with their irresponsible actions.
In that their actions, both directly and indirectly, aid those who would do damage to the Make America Great Again Agenda and see it fail. Whoever Q or QAnon may be, they are most decidedly not close to the President, they are not Conservatives, and with every post they make, they subvert the MAGA Agenda.
And there you have it, sportsfans.
The real reason that otherwise intelligent patriots on FR don't "believe" Q is real. They have given up after a lifetime of losing to the derps.
Well, not this cat. This cat refuses to give up hope. Not until the last breath leaves my body.
Rise up fallen fighters. Rise and take your stance again. For he who fight and run away, live to fight another day."
~Bob Marley
And yet you fear.
Reconcile.
Is it? All of it?
Were the pictures of the derps at the London Crossfire Hurricane meeting in London already "in the public view"?
I guess you could say they were since they were taken and intercepted from a traffic cam. But is that really the public view?
Ponder on how intelligence services actually collect and analyze information. Re-read Tom Clancy if it'll help.
Wait, you didn't get the personal memo on White House stationary?
The cool thing is, we don't all take things at face value and actuall "get" how things work in the big game. We ve been paying attention all our lives. NO President gets elected without backing of some sort.
If you think The Donald was elected and remains in office based on his personal power, despite the entire worldwide derp state being arrayed against him, then you are naïve.
I understand you want the simple narrative. But life and "politics" isn't simple. As the Donald said on election night, "Complicated business".
Tell that to his twitter account.
No one is praising QAnon in the Trump WH.
Tell that to General Flynn and his family. Oh wait, maybe you don't know. They probly didn't go over that stuff on training class. Ya, look up the statements that Flynn and his family have made re: Qanon.
But you're right. Flynn is as much a WH employee as Gorka, though I think they left for different reasons. The main difference is Flynn is an American hero. Gorka is....ummm, what exactly is Gorka?
It's a weak argument, but it's all you got.
Please leave your sister out of it, mickety mac.
You still trying to peddle that mueller crap when
Not only have you not proven it
When asked to produce it several times today which you couldn’t and you instead inadvertently created a new Q proof of the fact that the Mueller report was ended over a year ago
So pathetic.
I understand that you don't understand.
view yourself as the brightest among men.
No, I don't consider myself particularly bright. But I do have an uncanny ability to see through the fog and am a most excellent student of human behavior. I leave the big thinking and research to the truly brilliant, of which there a a LOT of who research Q.
And you just hit upon one of the main reasons "you people" have a problem with Q. I call it the "smartest guy in the room" theory. For years, some people have considered themselves adept at political commentary, especially on FR. Now along comes a "guy" who challenges their supremacy.
They naturally resist this interloper and are left looking like they don't really know what they thought they knew.
I do get it. I really do.
So no, it's not about being "bright". It's simply about the WILLINGNESS to expand your thinking and accept a new way of looking at things. Simple, really.
I'm so disturbed by this news, I may need an intervention.
Heading to my safe space to curl up in a fetal position with my teddy bear.
Hold fast, brother. Our faith is being tested.
Don't listen to the haters.
Q is The Light and The Way.
Trust Sessions. Trust the Plan.
All will be revealed.
Bagster logic is wasted on these trolls
If any one of them had a lick of common sense they would realize that q drops are free
And thier whole premise is crap
Anyone can read them for free on 8chan or on
Any of the aggregate sites like qmap.pub or qanon.pub
Or any of the forums that discuss them like on the thread here (you make money on the oracle right?) Or on Reddit or voat or Twitter or gab.
All of which require no money
Addtionally they would realize the total idiocy of them complaining about the Quote q “gritters” while defending one of the very grifters q warned about and using those same grifters pushback as thier pathetic proof
To top it off the alleged leader of these so called paytriot “grifters” says the exact opposite and says don’t pay, don’t listen to those trying to make money....
Be Careful Who You Are Following
29 Apr 2018 - 11:11:22 AM
Be careful who you are following.
Some are profiting off this movement.
Some are building a big following off this movement only then to retreat and go mainstream.
Patriots make sacrifices.
Some, the ultimate sacrifice.
Patriots are SELFLESS.
Do they ask for monthly payments to remain Patriots?
Think logically.
To some, its only about the money.
Those who would seek personal gain at the expense of others in this movement have an agenda.
You decide.
This is not a game.
The only profit we should all be striving for is TRUE FREEDOM.
God bless you all.
Q
Next thing you know these clowns will be defending fat Jerome corsi
#worstgrifterever
Ya, the "grifters" theme is tired. But really, what else do they have?
These trolls now expect us to hate capitalism all of a sudden. What are we, communists?
This roman guy sounds like Occupy Wall Street.
#DerpsGonnaDerp
Specially that roman shill.
They weren’t derps, they were dwerps. Big Difference.
Do the math...
[yawn]
Im not trying to talk you out of believing in Q.
Wait. Is there a dwerp state too?
I have not been advised of this. Q has much to answer for.
Im not trying to talk you out of believing in Q.

Who said you were?
#WatchOutForCarpetFrogs
Q has posted about some real interesting things that don’t make the news and is dismissed only to have it proven true when others have researched the cryptic clues that were posted... the mistakes that most outsiders make is not understanding that the Q posts were originally being posted to manipulate those who committed crimes associated with the Clintons and the Obama white house. this meant that occasionally misinformation was posted to promote a distrust or trust within those who were involved in crimes. the posts also were used to keep those patriates who might of started talking about violence over the crimes to remain calm and to let the legal and political systems to play out. this worked and allowed the president a little room to let everything play out with out the more militant trying to act rashly. as far as I am concerned I don’t no if Q is connected to the president or to military intelligence. I do no that he kept a melt down from happening within the internet social media sphere.
Good morning, Baggy.
Didn’t know you worked the graveyard shift. Man, that’s dedication.
Keeping the world safe from derp 24/7. That’s so admirable and selfless of you. Noble, really.
I know I’m your favorite blaspheming heretic, but I got nothing else tonight.
This thread is making me hungry for some Quisp cereal. Gotta go.
