During the 2018 Midterms in the United States, strange signs started appearing at political rallies. Held up by non-descript attendees, the signs read simply, We are Q. For those Trekkers out there, you might be confused: no, these rallygoers were not making an oblique reference to the infamous Star Trek: The Next Generation character portrayed by John de Lancie. The group appeared from the fringes of internet chat rooms, such as on the website of 4Chan, a peculiar mixture of cyberpunks and various online misfits.
Q is derived from an anonymous poster on the internet forum, a source claiming to have a top secret clearance with the U.S. intelligence community. This person (or group of people) spun an intricate conspiracy theory that many Far Right activists on gonzo internet forums picked up and began disseminating to wider audiences online and in their communities.
The conspiracy goes like this: the real purpose of the Robert Mueller special counsel investigation was not to investigate Donald Trump, but instead to investigate Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and people like former Hillary Clinton campaign chairman, John Podesta. The QAnon conspiracy theory is far-reaching, with new pieces added with regularity, in the form of what Q supporters refer to as breadcrumbs. One such addition to the conspiracy theory last year was that the Mueller probe was also looking into the now-deceased Senator John McCain (R-AZ) for his illegal activities.
What is the ultimate end of the QAnon conspiracy; what does Mueller hope to achieve, according to them?
That part, like most conspiracy theories, is conveniently not knowable. The Mueller investigation, having ended in a whimper rather than the bang the Trump-hating Fake News was hoping for, should have been the end of the QAnon conspiracy theory. QAnon conspiracy theorists have simultaneously argued that the ultimate target of the Mueller investigation is either the Deep State of nefarious anti-American, globalist actors, or the aim is to pursue high-profile pedophiles in the United States government and in other powerful circles related to the government.
QAnons Pernicious Connections to Pizzagate
Now for the most pernicious aspect of the QAnon conspiracy theory. In 2016, conspiracists on 4Chan and other similar fringe messaging boards claimed that the emails stolen from Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podestas (and subsequently made public by WikiLeaks) contained secret messages referring to a powerful ring of pedophiles who were using a local Washington, D.C. pizzeria as a base of operations to conduct their crimes. None of these claims were true. But, what ended up happening was that the highly irresponsible conspiracy theory triggered a mentally unstable man, who in turn took a gun to a D.C. pizzeria with intent to use it.
The source material for these theories is the vile, uber-fringe 4Chan and 8Chan. 4Chan was launched in 2003 as a place to share images and discuss Japanese anime. In fact, it was modeled on the Japanese anime internet boards, such as Futaba Channel. Over time, though, the already eclectic group of online personalities that 4Chan attracted devolved into something darker. It became a haven for crazed conspiracy theorists from both sides of the political divide. 4Chan also became popular among the white nationalist community, and also became a place for hackers and other criminalsincluding child pornographers. If there was a Hell on the internet, 4Chan was Hell.
Meanwhile, a similar website, created by gonzo software developer, Frederick Brennan, 8Chan was launched in 2013 as a response to what Brennan believed was the rise in authoritarianism, censorship, and surveillance on 4Chan. Despite the fact that 8Chan has become the 3,857th most viewed website in the world, with an average of 35,000 unique visitors per day and 400,000 original posts per day, it too has become mired in controversy. 8Chan, which has been billed as the more libertarian (though, perhaps libertine would be better) 4Chan, has apparently become a hub of international child pornography postings. This became such a problem that, in 2015, 8Chan was blacklisted by Google search. It is a profound understatement to claim that anything positive or good comes from these boards. Yet, it is precisely from sites like these that the Pizzagate and now the QAnon conspiracy theories emanate.
Alternative media figures, such as Mike Cernovich, have also furthered the Pizzagate and QAnon conspiracy theories. Some of these individuals have massive social media followings. With big internet names furthering the conspiracies, it was only a matter of time before disaster struck. In 2016, when the pizzeria shooting happened, several media outlets attempted to lay the blame at the feet of people like Cernovich. This only gave the Fake News Industrial Complex more fuel in their ongoing war against President Trump and the Right.
The very same group of internet Alt-Right activists and online forums that furthered the Pizzagate conspiracy have also spread the QAnon conspiracy theory.
Here are some of the other bizarre, totally inaccurate predictions that QAnon has made:
01/21/18 A flood was alleged to be coming. A flood consisting of various forms of media that I imagine were supposed to implicate somebody in something nefarious. Sadly, this flood never came.
01/21/18 Q makes some very certain claims about the Nunes Memo, which of course do not come remotely true when the memo is released a couple weeks later.
01/22/18 Q posts a confirmed fake Podesta email, then promptly deletes it. But not before his followers have time to notice. 02/09/18 Next week [Next week] was declared suicide weekend. Nothing came to pass.
02/21/18 Q predicts that the founder of Twitter is removing accounts because he and his Deep State friends are in deep trouble. Nothing came to pass.
03/15/18 Q declares March Madness and that the public will soon know. Nothing came to pass.
04/02/18 April was supposed to be a BIG month, full of happenings including but not limited to arrests, the release of the IG report, the wall, military start, and unsealed indictments. Nothing came to pass.
Where Does QAnon Go From Here?
Things have gotten even stranger for the QAnon conspiracists now that Special Counsel Robert Mueller has submitted his final report. While the report has not yet been made public, Attorney General William Barr has seen it, and he has issued a summary of the report.
AG Barr explains that Mueller has not proven any collusion or coordination between President Donald Trump, his top 2016 campaign staffers, and Russian intelligence. The focus of the investigation was Donald Trump and his 2016 presidential campaign. Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Podesta, or even John McCain were not targets of the Mueller probe in any way as Q promised.
The fact that the QAnon conspiracy theory is tied in with the Pizzagate fiasco is bad enough. The more damaging part is that these cult-like actors link themselves to the Trump movement, despite the fact that no member of the Trump movement has anything to do with these insane theories. They are the outgrowth of a pathetic group who exist online, in the dark corners of the worldwide web. That they have attached their delusions to the Trump movement is unfortunate.
But, they do not represent and are not affiliated with President Trump, his supporters, or those who work for the president.
Recently, some Q supporters have insisted that certain pictures of President Trump and key advisers in the White House prove that they are, in fact, members of the Q conspiracy because their positioning makes it appear as though they are displaying subliminal messages about Q. These internet personalities claim to be supporting the President. Yet, consistently, their actions have shown that they are not allies of the President. They damage and besmirch the Trump movement with their irresponsible actions.
In that their actions, both directly and indirectly, aid those who would do damage to the Make America Great Again Agenda and see it fail. Whoever Q or QAnon may be, they are most decidedly not close to the President, they are not Conservatives, and with every post they make, they subvert the MAGA Agenda.
Mueller was done sooner than the BLP article. That is their reference point not the final reference point going backward to the earlier date.
So it’s not beneficial to you nor your #QAnon posters. They were wrong. Again.
But that’s not news.
If you really have an open mind then go find and read whatever you can. Then make your determination. You won’t find much here on a thread like this because the poster does not have an open mind. And they have done virtually zero research. They have an agenda. That is all.
Here is a good video to watch. It is dated, but I see it deals with the “Tip Top” event among others. Just search for videos and watch. Search for “Q proofs”.

Well, to be perfectly honest, if you get to be lazy I get to be lazy. I won't go do your research for you. I got enough on my plate. Go to the Q thread right here on FR and check the links provided at the top of each thread.
While it would be nice if intelligent patriots actually looked at Trump's comm op, I've discovered that there is an element that won't listen to anything unless the derp media tells them it's so.
So you just go head on waiting to find out what's happening months after WE knew about it.
But honestly. Do your own research like I and everybody else did. Ransomnote has made it easy for you, even. It's all right there.
Oh, here's another research topic for you. Check out the pics of a London street at night with 4 (or 5) derps walking across the street that Q posts last year and several times since. Seems that was a meeting of the US/UK derp meeting setting up the treasonous coup.
Research the hotel in the vicinity. Lots of good stuff there, and it's all gonna come out a year after Q posted about it. Think CROSSFIRE HURRICANE, Russian Dossier, FiveEyes, Page/Strzok, etc.
So much juicy goss, and all right there for the plucking.
Didn’t play the victim. There’s no President Q team. There’s no Q.
Whatever comes has nothing to do with Q and everything to do with the people who have fought for President Trump.
You can believe it’s great to “Trust Sessions” and “the House is safe” and all manners of lies as you like.
It’s all lies.
OMG, I’m so scared. Thank you for the heartfelt warning. We REALLY owe a debt of gratitude for people like you! /s
Who is working harder this troll or the MSM?
One of the main reasons I looked into q was because of how hard the MSM was trying to discredit it.

I don't follow Qanon at all. I have never been on 4chan or 8chan. I did hold a TS clearance 40 years ago in the USAF. I saw and learned things...
I would like to weigh-in regarding your "short term things that did not eventuate and some other anomalies." I feel that it is entirely possible that the "Q" thing, in addition to information, might be directions or warnings to effect changes that if successful may never come to pass.
A rumor is started that there is a guy at work having an affair. Nothing ever happens and the whole thing blows over, yet you may never know that someone asking for a transfer heard the rumor loud and clear.
It is possible some Q-drops may have a purpose different to our mundane assumptions. In my military telecommunications years, continuing in my Verizon (legacy MCI) career, we had a whole lexicon to communicate among ourselves but not understood by the public.
As technicians on the midnight shifts, we often patched up NYC/MIA or LA/ATL Intermachine Trunks to the building PA to listen to phone calls and stay awake. Sometimes it was better than all-night radio. Before anyone gets bent out of shape, just realize a telephone maintenance tech cannot fix broken phone calls with listening to them.
My point is that most people have no clue what may go on in the underbelly of our culture. Qanon might be the doctor taking a pulse or providing therapy.
Oh, don’t be grateful to me. I’m not responsible for the outing of the QAnon grift.
They’ve done that to themselves. Shoot, they’ve outed themselves posing the Q droppings.
Brace for impact. More evidence is coming as in the Russia Collusion Hoax.
It’s better for MAGA all-around.
Have a great day!
“Here I am ready to be convinced. Show me.”
I gave you a very short video to watch in #287. You did not respond. You probably didn’t even watch it. And that is why people don’t bother giving others proof. It is a waist of time.
“Qanon might be the doctor taking a pulse or providing therapy.”
Maybe you can shed light that there is no such thing as Q Clearance in the US Military.
It exists in the Dept. of Energy. So I guess that’s a minor quibble with all the big things wrong like the arrests, Jeff Sessions, the 2018 races, etc.
You let your bloomers show in post #300. That was a slip-up.
It puzzles me why you think that makes you special? EVERYBODY new it was a hoax from the gate. Well, except for the dumbest of the dumb, I guess.
Hell, even the smart derps (there are a few) knew it was B.S; right? As you yourself pointed out, even Mueller knew MONTHS ago that there was not THERE there, but was riding it out (past the mid-terms) and as deep as he could take it until daddy (Trump through Whitaker and Barr) shut his dirty ass down.
And yet here you are claiming to know that it was a hoax all along, like as if nobody else saw that one coming.
I hereby debunk you and name you LARP.
No, I’m not QAnon either. LOL!
Here is a video of a few superficial examples
There are many
I’m not going through 3000 items over two years to convince you
Braced up! Thank you for the great advice and the insider heads-up on the Russian probe. You should use your real name. Get the fame that’s coming your way.
“EVERYBODY new”
No everybody isn’t new or knew.
And you still haven’t answer the question.
You never will. Soon you won’t have to as the QAnon scam will be exposed as the Russia Collusion Hoax.
Today is a good day. Tomorrow will be better. MAGA!
That is a good one. I was thinking about it here, but I did not have the link saved. Thanks for posting it.
Didnt play the victim. Theres no President Q team. Theres no Q.
Whatever comes has nothing to do with Q and everything to do with the people who have fought for President Trump.
You can believe its great to Trust Sessions and the House is safe and all manners of lies as you like.
Its all lies.
Do you not find it ironic, you are on the same page as our enemy media concerning the Q movement??? Yeah, that same enemy media who has lied to us over and over again, especially about the Russian investigation which you claim to be such an expert on? LOL You trying got have it both ways here? LOL
The same lies are coming from the enemedia, maga coalition, and spread here by you, knowingly or unknowingly, since you all are really on the same page when it comes to Q. Do you even realize that?
CGato
You have to save as many as you can. I believe it’s helpful and in this case essential as state for President Trump.
The DNC Media will look to pin the QAnon violence on him. The hoax must be exposed.
Wow this is like the sixth comment you’ve made to try and backtrack what you already posted. It must really drive you crazy that in your zeal to disprove Q you’ve done the exact opposite
