I don't follow Qanon at all. I have never been on 4chan or 8chan. I did hold a TS clearance 40 years ago in the USAF. I saw and learned things...
I would like to weigh-in regarding your "short term things that did not eventuate and some other anomalies." I feel that it is entirely possible that the "Q" thing, in addition to information, might be directions or warnings to effect changes that if successful may never come to pass.
A rumor is started that there is a guy at work having an affair. Nothing ever happens and the whole thing blows over, yet you may never know that someone asking for a transfer heard the rumor loud and clear.
It is possible some Q-drops may have a purpose different to our mundane assumptions. In my military telecommunications years, continuing in my Verizon (legacy MCI) career, we had a whole lexicon to communicate among ourselves but not understood by the public.
As technicians on the midnight shifts, we often patched up NYC/MIA or LA/ATL Intermachine Trunks to the building PA to listen to phone calls and stay awake. Sometimes it was better than all-night radio. Before anyone gets bent out of shape, just realize a telephone maintenance tech cannot fix broken phone calls with listening to them.
My point is that most people have no clue what may go on in the underbelly of our culture. Qanon might be the doctor taking a pulse or providing therapy.
“Qanon might be the doctor taking a pulse or providing therapy.”
Maybe you can shed light that there is no such thing as Q Clearance in the US Military.
It exists in the Dept. of Energy. So I guess that’s a minor quibble with all the big things wrong like the arrests, Jeff Sessions, the 2018 races, etc.
Or Qanon might be doing the Horsy Trojan thing.
