They really brighten up the back yard. I’ll have tigers blooming soon, and also my Easter lilies have been blooming. Hubby loves lilies and plants tons of them. Which I totally approve of. :)
I love them too! :)
Pretty little pup!
Pretty flowers and sweet pup!
I miss my lilies at my old house. Collected them for years.
There are 2 clumps of lilies that came up here in a side yard area.
If I like the blooms Ill move them into my new garden area.
My big pots are looking fabulous. Have 5 planted. Mixed flowers.
Sounds like you’re working hard to get things looking pretty there!
Lilies are so cool...they come back every year. :-)
I love how hardy the lilies are.
Its raining again tonight.
This is not good.
I can only work in between the rains.
LOL
Rainy here too!
Wish I had that problem....at least for a while. People here moan and groan after it rains about an hour here, We aren’t used to it. LOL!
Ill be glad when the field dries out and our renter can plant his crop.
Pretty soon it will be too late to plant corn or beans.
Hoping for better weather.
This everyday rain business is getting tiring!
Well, every day I don’t have my motorcycle, I don’t mind the rain.
But when Blue gets home, it had BETTER be SUNNY!
Yes lets hope for great riding weather -
motorcycles and horses!
Ooooo YEAAAAHH!!!
Bible in a Year: 2 Chronicles 79; John 11:129
Go and make disciples of all nations. Matthew 28:19
I was eager to return to St. James Infirmary in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and reconnect with Rendell, who two years earlier had learned about Jesuss love for him. Evie, a teenager in the high school choir I travel with each spring, had read Scripture with Rendell and explained the gospel, and he personally received Jesus as his Savior.
When I entered the mens section of the home and looked toward Rendells bed, however, I found it was empty. I went to the nurses station, and was told what I didnt want to hear. He had passed awayjust five days before we arrived.
Through tears, I texted Evie the sad news. Her response was simple: Rendell is celebrating with Jesus. Later she said, Its a good thing we told him about Jesus when we did.
Her words reminded me of the importance of being ready to lovingly share with others the hope we have in Christ. No, its not always easy to proclaim the gospel message about the One who will be with us always (Matthew 28:20), but when we think about the difference it made for us and for people like Rendell, perhaps well be encouraged to be even more ready to make disciples wherever we go (v. 19).
Ill never forget the sadness of seeing that empty bedand also the joy of knowing what a difference one faithful teen made in Rendells forever life.
What are some things you can do to introduce people to Jesus today? As you share your faith, how does it encourage you to know Jesus is with you always (Matthew 28:20)?
God, we know that people need You. Help us to overcome our fear of telling others about You.
Happy Wednesday, all!

Very Early Spring
The fields are snowbound no longer;
There are little blue lakes and flags of tenderest green.
The snow has been caught up into the sky--
So many white clouds--and the blue of the sky is cold.
Now the sun walks in the forest,
He touches the bows and stems with his golden fingers;
They shiver, and wake from slumber.
Over the barren branches he shakes his yellow curls.
Yet is the forest full of the sound of tears....
A wind dances over the fields.
Shrill and clear the sound of her waking laughter,
Yet the little blue lakes tremble
And the flags of tenderest green bend and quiver..
Katherine Mansfield
It was 45 degrees here last night!
