Zoe Tillman Verified account @ZoeTillman In a 2-1 decision, the DC Circuit ruled today that district court judges do not have discretion to order the release of "historically significant" grand jury information, beyond the exceptions listed in federal court rules
DOJ on today's DC Circuit decision (see above) narrowing judges' discretion to release grand jury info (a subject that seems rather on point right now...): "The Department of Justice will continue to defend the long established tradition of protecting grand jury information."
