Good morning from a windy JBA, where there is a light drizzle and the temperature is a chilly 47 degrees.
Marine One was wheels down at 10:10am and President Trump emerged five minutes later and was handed an umbrella by the Marine who greeted him. He’s wearing a black raincoat over a navy suit and a baby blue tie with stripes.
POTUS was joined by advisers Dan Scavino, Stephen Miller, Derek Lyons, and Jared Kushner.
Air Force One is rolling as of 10:20am. Our first stop of the day is El Centro, California. Estimated flight time is just under 5 hours.

The last Trump event I went to was I think in October and I had on a 3”x5” Q badge. Hubby and I talked to Corey Lewandoski, hubby told him he enjoyed his book and I asked what he thought of Q.
He said he did not know what I was talking about.
Go figure.

Thread: The intersection of campaign-finance law and the Citizens United verdict basically set forth rules that so long as you don’t establish a registered campaign or call yourself a candidate you can work with super PACs and take larger donations from individuals and entities.
A campaign Pays for direct operations of a candidate travel expenses staff things of that nature. Most campaign-finance law is restricted to the campaign not autonomous PACs or super PACs. A campaign can only take $2700 from an individual or entity.
A candidate and his or her campaign cannot have direct communication or coordination with a super PAC. A Super PAC can take donations of unlimited amounts from individuals and it is so long as they don’t break that barrier of communication.
Right now Joe Biden can call millionaires and ask for million dollar donations all of that money will go to a super PAC once he announces his candidacy he can no longer coordinate with that super PAC and will have to raise money the hard way.
This is ironic because this was put in the place through the citizens United verdict the Democrats demonized because their candidate was already established and then allowed Republicans to raise money: like Jeb Bush, who were known candidates but waited a long time to announce.
With his interview today Joe Biden danced all over these rules

There was an airliner on fire earlier today at the Dallas/Ft. Worth airport.
The airliner was an old out-of-service jet being used in a firefighting exercise for the airport fire service.
