Barbra Streisand is under fire for comments she made about two men accusing Michael Jackson of sexually assaulting them as children.
The legendary singer and actress said that Wade Robson and James Safechuck — whose allegations against the late King of Pop resurfaced in the recent documentary “Leaving Neverland" — “were thrilled to be there” and that what allegedly happened to them “didn’t kill them."
Well, she just touched the third rail.
If she can’t stop herself from making idiotic comments about controversial issues, why can’t her handlers stop her?

They were young, impressionable, and very impressed with their star icon, Michael Jackson, who used and abused the power he had over them, betraying their innocence with his own sexual desires. That aspect of Jackson deserves no defense, no matter how musically talented he was.
Preying on children, like rape, IS not singularly about sex, it is about control, the power to control others, and the pleasure obtained by that control.
Jackson had such power played over him, within his family, by his father constantly and while he was immature by his older brothers (who brought whores to bed with them in hotel beds and bedrooms they shared with Michael while Michael was present, as child. His own immaturity and innocence was tossed aside. It was afterwards not really so strange that as an adult, in his own twisted way, Jackson was trying to live the childhood he never had.
I am glad Streisand has revealed herself, showing the idiot we always knew her to be.
Like Jackson she may be very talented. That does not excuse her anymore than it did Jackson.

One of the things that torments some victims is that at the time of the abuse, they actually did enjoy the attention, and how the abuser made them feel special and loved. This is all part of the grooming process, and is a special kind of evil. The victims then grow up to feel that they were in some way responsible.
Jackson groomed not only the children, but the parents. He insinuated himself into the family, then cleaved the children away slowly until he had them to himself.
The parents are culpable in that they chose to ignore the signs. No normal parent allows their child to be spirited off in this manner.
