Looks like I can get some pots of English lavender at Lowes. I will practice this year and figure out the best spot for them eventually. Thanks for the idea.

They can be quite aggressive. We went to feed some geese and Ducks some of my failure bread over the weekend. I was a little nervous about the geese but they just stayed in the water.

What was most amazing was when some migratory Canadian geese were at our local Lake. We found two of the babies that were wrapped up in fishing twine. I stopped traffic while my husband gathered the babies and was trying to cut them free. The mom and dad were making a racket but they kept their distance, almost as if they knew that we were helping. I was really nervous that we would be attacked.
