Seymour ,Indiana ( my county ) has the largest high school basketball gymnasium in the world. Nikk has been in it many times.
That’s Mellencamps “small town”. His family lives just down the road

When I worked at the bank in California in 69 Charles Schultz was my favorite customer. He came in everyday to get lunch money. Went to same restaurant and then sat on a park bench in the afternoon watching people for inspiration. Called me LiL Hoosier!

And Damon Bailey filled the place to over flow. All the town of Bedford pleated for babysitters pretty much all of his high school years. I’d hear the women in the bathroom discussing families who were watching the town’s children. Truthfully.

Sweet memory. My brother while living in California caught a bank robber. I worry about him living alone on the Rio Grande. War as the Vietnam war really has left many with unhealed wounds. Sad.

Last one out of town turned the lights out became a reality
Damon is related to my former students. And the General often came to some of our local farm ponds to fish. One thing we all boasted about was the privacy our local celebs got/get. Same wave and howdy everyone else gets.
