Thumbs up! I hope it doesn’t look like the finger, because I post it a lot in response to good news or good post.

1. Hold [menu] and [vol-] button on the side of the TV
2. while holding these, press the [power] button on the side of TV (NOT remote)
3. blue light comes ON and stays ON
4. wait 10 seconds then let go of [menu] and [vol-]
5. wait another 30 seconds and some type of picture should appear

Unplug the TV power cord from the wall socket. Press and hold the power button on the TV for 10 seconds. Plug the TV back in and turn the TV on with the TV remote

Also-
Leave plugged in, hold the power button, for 10-15 seconds, then unplugged it, waited a min, plugged TV back in, turn on

Let me know if these resets work.

Don’t worry. Everybody is more conversant with “emoji language” than I am!
Good luck with your TV.

OMG

“Immigration officials wrote to the man citing violent passages from the Bible to prove their point. They said that the Book of Revelation was “filled with imagery of revenge, destruction, death and violence.””

Have they read the Qur’an?

It’s not a smart tv, neither is the owner.

No. Just TV and cable. It’s not the cable, it’s the TV.

White House personnel official described Trump GOP nomination as ‘end of the world

Trump is said to have grown angry with DeStefano at times, including upon finding that a National Security Council official, Jordan Kelly, had not been dismissed from her role as a cyber expert more than a year after he requested it, according to a source.

The president, concerned about Kelly’s reputation of being close to fired FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe and former FBI attorney Lisa Page, grew upset this after finding she had not been returned to the FBI. Instead, she was still at the White House and said to be interviewing for a job with the anti-Trump House intelligence committee chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif.

Those are the instructions I’m following! Except I’m down to leaving it unplugged for an hour. I’ll let you know if it works. If it doesn’t, it wasn’t a very expensive tv but I would think it would last longer than 2 years, so if my son doesn’t have any solutions I’ll just buy another one.
I’m used to watching some boring rerun to go to sleep to, so if the TV isn’t working, I’ll have to do without. Maybe I can break the habit!

Yep...posted the 'miracle emojis' from my laptop. Maybe the last update fixed whatever the problem was, that caused some to not be able to see the emojis?? 🤷‍♀️

@JohnKasich argues the even a roaring economy might not be worth betraying our principles when it comes to supporting Pres. Trump.

“Maybe the Beatles said it right, ‘money can’t buy you love’ ... There’s a set of values, a set of standards we must uphold in our own lives.”

He’s the one I posted....I just went to his last list of instructions. Hold down the power much longer than the 2 buttons on the side..vol/menu.....if its anything like our Samsung side-by-side. I have to keep pressing down and holding several times. grrr...everytime our power goes off.

That dispicible piece of cr@p needs to go away. Like he knows anything about values, or has even owned a set of standards. Money can’t buy those, either, Son of a Milkman.

They can’t deny Trump’s greatest economy in what, decades???...so they trash him, personally.

Biggest loser ever.

Jennifer Jacobs
@JenniferJJacobs

Scoop: White House is considering @StephenMoore for a seat on the Federal Reserve Board, sources tell @SalehaMohsin and me.

Moore, a visiting fellow at Heritage Foundation, was founder of the conservative Club for Growth and served on editorial board of the Wall Street Journal.

At the GOP Data Trust, a voter outreach organization based in Washington, the mood was bleak. It was clear Trump was heading for a blowout victory.

When Trump had delivered his victory speech shortly after 9 p.m., Data Trust staffer Courtney Mullen invited her colleagues to attend an “end of the world” happy hour to mark Trump’s triumph, which the party establishment had watched in horror.

Mullen, now 25, who has been in her role more than two years amid high turnover, earns $94,000 helping review potential candidates for suitability for about 4,000 presidential appointments, about 1,200 requiring Senate approval. Bredenkoetter, also 25, is now chief data officer at the Republican National Committee.

That swamp is so big and deep. These people work for the GOP and would rather have had Hillary win. And they’re still working there. Not for Trump.
