I’m just confused. What’s the scandal here? That some people paid more to get into the college? And some people paid less because of it. The mock ‘outrage’ by executives who do this every day with their children to get them into expensive schools (including what gobsmacked me, college prep preschool...) and are the massive supporters of ‘racial diversity’ on campus are cutting people for doing the same thing?

Are we supposed to feel bad that they might be bullied? The kids who lost their place on the rowing team have every right to do so.

Someone ought to send the girls a brochure on the College of the Ozarks, a.k.a. “Hard Work U.” No tuition; students work their way through school. That would acquaint the Loughlin girls with a number of alien concepts, including sweat equity, faith and patriotism.

I would never have attended uni if I hadn’t been in the top 5-10% (I forget which) of my graduating class. These people are robbers.
We humored our daughter and did a walk through USC. She wanted to go there so bad! It’s in the middle of the ghetto, kids can’t ventire off campus unless in a shuttle bus and the tuition was $60k a semester! Needless to say, we did not pay for that crap, nor would we have any way. The vibe there was of complete snobbery. Not our style or style of our wallet.
