It just amazes me where the one girl was when this broke.
She was on a USC high official’s yacht in the Caribbean.
I’m sure a lot of girls get that type of service from USC leadership.

Rick Caruso is an interesting guy. He swung a deal with our city council to build a nice downtown business center. It’s named the Americana. There’s at least one other similar facility on the West Side of Los Angeles, and I believe here is one other in the region.
I don’t know a lot about him, but he was pretty shrewd when dealing with our city council clowns. They had for all intents and purposes struck a deal, and all of a sudden a few of the council members thought they’d be able to jack him around. His response was to tell them the outdoor mall area, was probably not a good idea, and he’d consider the deal dead.
The city council went on bended knee to kiss his ass and get the deal done. Of course that’s what he had wanted. In this instance, I think the guy was totally in the right too.

I doubt the service was from the official to the student. I suspect it was the other way around and part of the expectations of payment.

Rumor has it that trustee was involved in a huge real estate scandal.
In fairness, she is/was friends with his daughter who was also aboard.
