During 2017, 120 papers linking historical and modern climate change to variations in solar activity and its modulators (clouds, cosmic rays) have been published in scientific journals.
It has been increasingly established that low solar activity (fewer sunspots) and increased cloud cover (as modulated by cosmic rays) are highly associated with a cooling climate.
In recent years, the Earth has unfortunately left a period of very high solar activity, the Modern Grand Maximum. Periods of high solar activity correspond to multi-decadal- to centennial-scale warming.
Solar scientists are now increasingly forecasting a period of very low activity that will commence in the next few years (by around 2020 to 2025). This will lead to climate cooling, even Little Ice Age conditions.

Unfortunately, it wasn't bs. The climatologists of forty years ago had it right all along.
But allowing the people to get a forty year head start on prepping for an ice age didn't serve the long term interests of the global elite, who have been desperately seeking a way to reduce the earth's population for close to a century.
Call me cynical, but it makes perfect sense to me that the NWO would do something so dastardly as to steer the attention of the entire planet in the wrong direction, so that most would be completely unprepared for a mini ice age.
Hence the selling of anthropogenic global warming scam over the last twenty-odd years.

Not even close. They said that unless we "did something" we'd be starving in the cold by 2000. We were also running out of oil then, remember? By 2200 it might become a problem, though. The cold, not the oil.
UN Agenda 21 calls for the reduction of Earth's population by about 85%, IIRC. But if a bunch of the "elite" were conspiring to misdirect the public that way, word would have gotten out by now. Oh, wait...would it be REPORTED???
So, what did the experts tell us we had to "do" to stop global cooling? I sat through those classes, and don't remember them trying to push an anthropogenic connection.
But that's neither here nor there. Some of those climatologists really did know what they were talking about. They read the recurring climate patterns in the ice and sediment cores, and saw that we'd be in the beginning stages of a mini ice age now.
Do yourself a favor and read up on this, because it's coming.
Same as today; give us grant money to "study" the "problem" and allow government to rule us, telling us what we can and can't do.

And thanks, I’ve been keeping up with this for several years, ever since I noticed Obama kept saying “hottest year evah” 3 or 4 years in a row, and I didn’t see anywhere near the 106° to 108° temps I had seen a few years before. So I started poking around...
Pete, your reply compelled me to go looking for an obituary. Can't find one, so it would appear that I've been misinformed.
Casey apparently suffered a massive stroke in 2017, but there are few updates about his current health situation. In his last statement to his followers he stated that his career in climatology research was effectively over.
Sorry for passing along the bum information.
Sounds like we need to keep pumping out the greenhouse gasses.
