Soave and Carlson discussed why a complicit media like to promote the idea of a “surge in hate crimes,” despite what often turns out to be a reality they would rather not discuss.
“It is so hard to tell what percentage of these kinds of things are hoaxes,” said Soave. “Often times they’re just not solved. When they are solved it seems to me from my looking into it, that a lot of the time it ends up being a hoax. That is just from which ones I see get solved.”
“Of the cases that have been solved, of the top of your head, what percentage would you say are fraudulent?” asked Carlson.

He was probably allowed to surrender quietly to the police. After all, he is an underprivileged black man, who is an actor and happens to be gay. A rather sympathetic figure who contracted DTS and committed an illegal act because Donald Trump is a sexist, homophobic, racist person.

Most hate crime hoaxers have escaped serious consequences up to now. If you are right, it may signal a long-overdue change.
The other thing that needs to happen is a careful investigation into whether this was coordinated with other activists and politicians.

When Jussie’s lawyers spoke about mounting an Aggressive Defense, vetting the jurors, wherever this trial takes place, will be paramount. These expert lawyers are looking for a hung jury. It’s their job to game the system any way they legally can.
On Good Morning America today, the panel all spoke about different aspects of Jussie’s situation, except for Michael Strahan, who sat there saying nothing, until at the very end, spoke up to take Jussie’s point of view, that “He’s proclaiming that he’s innocent.” I guess he was assigned the “Take the perp’s point of view card.”
It’s the Federal charges related to the letter that was self-sent that will really be his undoing.
I think he wanted to go right to the strip search.
How long before the protesters show up with “FREE JUSSIE!” signs professionally printed?.......................
