Just broke on Twitter, Chicago PD Anthony Guglielmi announced Smollett was in custody as of around 5:30 am CST. Watch for a press conference at 9:00 am followed by first court appearance.
That's a rhetorical question no doubt. There won't be any trial and at the end of the day this worthless fairy will have made millions out of this.

The public has been subjected to a month of this fake weaponized story all because what? A third or fourth rate actor didn’t think he was getting the attention he wanted on a TV show? So he first sends himself a fake threat-letter. When that doesn’t get enough attention he pays for and stages a fake hate crime which then engulfs the entire country and costs 10’s of thousands of dollars in police time to investigate. A few years in jail is hardly sufficient for the turmoil he’s inflicted.
