Didn’t I read that POTUS drinks 12 cans of Diet Coke a day? He’s still blowing and going.
It is all BS. I don’t pay any attention to “studies say” anymore.
Other people can. I don’t. I am living my life, not getting whipsawed on a daily basis by this pap.
I vote for “bovine excrement”.
I can tolerate some of the diet beverages, a few like Diet Dr. Pepper and Diet Cherry Dr. Pepper I even prefer to their regular counterparts. But TAB is just disgusting. I hated it as a kid when that was all grandma kept in the house and my opinion hasn't changed over the last 45 years. TAB doesn't even taste remotely like Cola, it tastes pretty much like what it is, a bunch of random chemicals mixed together.
Just had to reply cause of your FR name!!!!!
My Diet Coke and power bar were a great breakfast...
I’ve been drinking Diet Caffeine-Free Pepsi for the past 20 years because I’m diabetic...take oral meds. Was raised on regular Pepsi. I’m 71, and recently passed a stress test, Echocardiogram, Ultrasound on my carotids, along with regular blood tests. All is well. I’m the baby of the family, and the last one left. I’ve already outlived three of my family members. My oldest sister lived the longest to 74. My only brother died at 51 of a massive heart attack. They all smoked. I never did. I’ll take my chances with the Diet Pepsi.
Forgot to mention, I’m a female too...”the hardest hit.”
“remember Pepsi Free?”
You want a Pepsi pal, you’re gonna pay for it.
I haven’t had a Tab in forever, but I used to love that saccharine taste. With a hit of lime.....yes! Our Kroger sells it I believe. Tell your grandmother I am buying some in her honor this weekend ; )
You lost me at scotch. It tastes like somebody threw cigarette butts in my whiskey and then strained them out.
skim milk....diet soda...cereal instead of eggs....less meat or no meat....
and absolutely stay away from potatoes....
all BS....
I limit my coffee intake to two cups a day. The rest of the day I drink caffeine-free diet Pepsi. Those two cups of coffee are enough caffeine for me.
Me too.
I’ve cut my RC cola down a lot.
Infused water is getting easier for me to like.
Because it seems that for study done there is another study about a year later that completely disputes it.
I have switched to strictly water out of my well. It’s the sweetest thing that I have ever put in my mouth. No artificial flavors or colors.
Agree. I've been under 30 carbs per day for 9 months now. Cholesterol dropped to 117 from ~200. LDL dropped from 70 to 47. I originally tried vegetarian diet to manage my cholesterol and became pre-diabetic.
My Aunt who lived in Amarillo drank sodas by the case lot daily. She lived to late nineties just like all the others in the family that lived into their nineties, with one going on to 103. I’m not too concerned about the few sodas out of the liter jug we chug each day.
These scareya articles don’t work with me. I smoked for fifty years, and quit only ten years ago, and am still breathing too.
“I vote for bovine excrement.”
Add my vote to the list.
Those obese people seeking to cut caloric intake are naturally going to adopt drinking diet drinks. . . Among other artificially sweetened foods. The fact they are eating low or non-caloric sweeteners is not what increases their tendency toward a greater morbidity, it is the obesity itself.
This is the classic logical fallacy of correlation is NOT necessarily causation.
As an Octogenarian that had a quad graph 13 years ago (no heart attack) found blockages on Nuclear test, I’ve been on diet pop for years and now I’m on Root beer love it, however,
I do take the carbonation out though. Maybe TMI.
