Just last week, a fellow died and with him, his password. Granted One hundred ninety MILLION dollars of gold or silver would be unwieldy.
Don't put your eggs in one basket.
Last week at the local coin dealer, gold was running about $50 a gram. Better if you can buy it in ounces, but grams will suffice if that's what's left after every couple paychecks. At least it's something.
Silver is much easier for me. A couple Andy Jacksons and I have another couple ounces.

A little bit of silver and gold should be all right. Along with some copper, lead and brass. Otherwise, put your trust in God. That's my approach anyway.
