"Empire" star Jussie Smollett was brutally attacked by 2 men who beat him up, put his head in a noose and screamed, "This is MAGA country."
Sources directly connected to Jussie tell TMZ, the actor arrived in Chicago from New York late Monday, and at around 2 AM he was hungry and went to a Subway. We're told when he walked out, someone yelled, "Aren't you that f***ot 'Empire' n*****?"
The 2 men -- both white and wearing ski masks -- viciously attacked Jussie as he fought back, but they beat him badly and fractured a rib. They put a rope around his neck, poured bleach on him and as they left they yelled, "This is MAGA country."
Jussie was taken to Northwestern Memorial where he was treated. He was discharged later Tuesday morning.
ThatGrapeJuice.Net first posted this letter which was sent to Fox Studios in Chicago with cut out letters spelling, "You will die black f**." Our sources say the letter was sent 8 days ago.
The envelope the letter arrived in appears to say MAGA in the upper left corner.
Law enforcement sources tell us Chicago PD is investigating the incident as a battery and the police tell us they are treating the incident as a possible hate crime.
A couple of white guys walking around Chicago at 2:00 am with ski masks, a noose, and a bottle of bleach and just happen to recognize an actor from a TV show that no white people watch and then attack him.
What's not to believe?
Not buying it. This story contains every homophobic cliche. The chances of that many things happening one after another seem pretty slim. Especially in Chicago.

They were wearing ski masks but knew they were white? How? Maybe their hands were showing or they saw blue eyes? But even if this is true in a country of 320 million people there are always going to be a few nuts. It proves nothing . If every attack by a POC on a white person made the news that’s all that would be on the news. White attacks on POC are rare that’s why they make the news they are unusual.

Anyone actually in Chicago would know that night it was snowing heavily with bitter below zero temps. Obviously the perfect time to be out with ropes and bleach waiting for the next gay celebrity to come along to attack.
And obviously a subzero snowstorm at 2:00 am is the perfect time to go get subway sandwiches. Assuming subway was even open at 2:00 am.
As an actor, You would think he could have come up with something more creative.

Noose & bleach ? Seems like he just chose various items to use as “proof” of an attack. I do not believe it. There are hateful, cruel people in every group, but this seems obviously fake.
Ok. But the alleged (fictional?) perpetrators were white.
