our heater went out last night! got both wood stoves blazing, wondering how they would do when it got to 7 during the night. then hubby fixed it, somehow. the man is a marvel with anything mechanical. we’re still having someone over to look at it since he doesn’t know exactly how he fixed it.

liberal illogic - they don’t get that without fossil fuel, they’d have no heat or air conditioning. power plants run on fossil fuels or the by products of fossil fuel, natural gas. good luck getting the electric grid humming with solar and wind alone. nuclear is clean and sustainable, but libs hate that too. propane is also a byproduct . don’t know about fuel oil, but maybe it’s the same

Geico has been playing some of their old commercials lately, including this one.
It still cracks me up.

Just saw this 'Hump Day' one last night.

Have you seen Geico's new "Tiny House" ad?
They have a very imaginative ad agency!

At least you know what they are selling when the ad is over.

I see many commercials these days packed with Snowflakes, Metrosexuals and Social Justice messages.
But at the end they leave the viewer clueless as to what product they are actually selling.

I have a small study utility table coming for my anniversary so I’ll have a place to keep and use it. My stand mixer is so heavy so I have a very sturdy table in the kitchen next to my old cabinet.oak
