President Trump tweeted in real time as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was addressing the partial government shutdown during her weekly news conference and declared “We will not Cave!” on the wall.
“Nancy just said she ‘just doesn’t understand why?’ Very simply, without a Wall it all doesn’t work,” Trump said in a posting as she was meeting with reporters on Thursday. “Our Country has a chance to greatly reduce Crime, Human Trafficking, Gangs and Drugs. Should have been done for decades. We will not Cave!”

Does Nancy suppose we’ll have a drone for every illegal alien? Simply identifying them will do nothing, and Democrats know that.
He may not cave. His supporters may not cave. But what about the GOP in Congress?

I wish he’d add something to his list along with crime, drugs, trafficking and the rest: the toll illegals take on our health care systems.
They use the emergency room as their doctor and it is all passed along to the American citizen.
People need reminding of this!

...and on our education system. They are a huge burden AND so many school districts are required by federal law to provide them one-on-one help because of their “disabilities.”
If it’s true that the non essentials are actually getting paid, then the pressure on the Dems will be far less while the media pressure blaming Trump will continue.
Republicans should NOT be authorizing paychecks to the non essentials.
Make the Democrats pay for their irresponsibility.
He still doesn’t have to sign anything that’s not up to par.
And what if enough GOP cross to make it veto proof?
I would like to see every single lawmaker confined to Washington DC for the duration, with perhaps a bonafide family emergency exception.

Everyday I read about law enforcement officers who are still working but not getting paid. Border patrol agents who are working but not getting paid. Coast Guard personnel who are working but not getting paid. Coast Guard helicopter pilots who are flying search and rescue missions but not getting paid.
If all these DHS people are working but not getting paid why is DHS still considered non-essential? Why is the DHS not getting paid?
The dems put a bill to fund the government but left DHS off the funding in the bill. What is up with that? The Democrats don’t want the wall... is it also a fact that they don’t want DHS either? Is that the real impetus behind the stubbornness - that they don’t like DHS therefore nothing DHS or DHS related will be funded? I think we all need to call our congressman and our Senators and ask him some questions about why DHS is being left off and considered non-essential but they are still working as if they were essential. They’re working and not getting paid for the work they are doing right now.
Even the most hardened liar eventually tells the truth.
Not a matter of if, but when. She’s on ice waiting to suck the oxygen outta the next scandal.
